I and my wife have been ordering from here for close to a year. We have ordered at all hours including 1.50 am when the restaurant is about to shut. Their food quality has been consistent and it tastes just right. Even the portion sizes are enough for 2-3 people. What I love is the most is that they add all trimmings to their dishes. Tandoori chicken will have generous chopped coriander and chicken fried rice will have purple cabbage and colored peppers. I have never found their food lacking. Lastly, I love their schzwan sauce. Between theirs and Ching's I will go with the former. Also this is a budget restaurant and the quality is unbeatable at this price. This restaurant is a must try if you visit Goregaon east.
Edit: 10.30.23 A few weeks ago, I went here to eat. While the place has been refurbished, the service and atmosphere has taken a hit. The manager sat a few tables away playing music on his phone on full blast. There was a family celebrating a birthday and they were loud. The servers and managers did nothing to quieten them. The take away the used plates and cutlery and pile it up in a large tub a few feet across from the table. That's a hazard given that it can attract pests and rodents. After carrying the tub full of used plates, the servers didn't wash their hands before putting new plates on our table. They made an awful amount of noise putting metal cutlery away. Overall, it was an overbearing experience. This place is good for the low income...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am extremely disappointed and frustrated with my recent order from China Hunt. I specifically ordered āPaneer Lajawab,ā which, as described in your own menu, is supposed to come in a special medium spicy tomato gravy. Naturally, I was expecting a dish with a red, tangy sauce that matches the flavor profile of tomato-based gravies. However, what I received was completely different. The gravy was yellow instead of red, and the taste was nothing like what was promised. Instead of a tangy, spicy tomato flavor, the dish tasted more like āMethi Malai Paneerāāit was sweet and had an odd, slightly bitter aftertaste. This is misleading, unacceptable, and feels like a total disregard for customer expectations. Is this really the standard you hold yourself to? Do you think itās okay to serve anything under the name of a popular dish and expect customers to just accept it? If your chef canāt distinguish between a tomato-based gravy and a malai methi curry, itās a huge problem. I paid good money for something completely different and now I feel cheated. This is not just a minor mix-upāthis is a sign of careless attitude toward your menu, your food, and most importantly,...
