A Flavorful Gem: Flavors of China in Matunga
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5 stars)
Flavors of China in Matunga has quickly become my favorite Chinese restaurant in the city. Ever since discovering this hidden gem, I've found myself either ordering in or dining at the establishment on a regular basis.
Their food is consistently delicious and full of bold, authentic flavors. As a bonus, when you dine in, they offer a complimentary bowl of fried noodles, shezwan sauce, and kimchi that adds a delightful touch to the meal. The chicken steamed wontons are an absolute must-try, easily ranking among the best Chinese starters I've had in a long time.
Adding to the overall experience, Flavors of China features a live nitrogen ice cream counter, where you can indulge in freshly made, intriguing ice cream concoctions. It's the perfect way to end a satisfying meal.
However, there are a couple of downsides to consider. The restaurant is quite small, so if you're planning a visit on the weekend, be prepared to wait for a table. Additionally, due to its popularity, delivery times can sometimes be longer than expected.
Despite these minor drawbacks, I wholeheartedly recommend Flavors of China in Matunga for anyone seeking a top-notch Chinese dining experience. The mouthwatering dishes, generous hospitality, and unique offerings more than make up for any inconveniences, making it a restaurant you'll want to return to time...
Read moreHad ordered for a home delivery. The delivery boy could not deliver my order since he could not find the location Inspire of guiding him. Also the delivery boy Sunil Kumar was so arrogant that he had the audacity to call us and say 'Flavours of China mai call karke timepass karne k like thank you'
The timepass that he did by taking almost 1.5 hrs and yet not delivering the order. Talking arrogantly to us and cutting the call on our face, leaving us hungry and instigating us to visit the restaurant midnight just to let him know what he did was wrong. He was still very arrogant and not guilty at all.
I would suggest you to hire boys who have knowledge about the locations and if not then train them by making them aware of the locations and how to...
Read moreThis restaurant is popular for its variety of chinese foods. The ambience is pretty cool based on chinese theme. Service would rate that a 10/10. We tried chicken crispy for starter, Chicken was soft and spicy (you can opt for sweetness if needed ). Quantity was huge enough for 4-5 people For main course we ordered Chicken burnt chilly noodles which was worth the amount. It was well cooked and tasted something unique from noodles tried at other places. For dessert, must try Rockey Road Roll. It's quite expensive but tastes amazing. You can feel a variety of ingredients as you eat it.
The best part is their music. It was so soothing and calm and not too loud or too low. Just...
