Located at a stone's throw distance from the Dadar station (W), Marine Aqua Zoo is a small, charming zoo that offers a delightful escape into the world of nature and wildlife. While it may not be the largest or most extravagant zoo, it holds its own unique charm that is sure to captivate visitors of all ages. The entry fee is a mere 20 rs and the vicinity is not very crowded. If you can make it between 12pm to 4 pm, they also let you handle the snakes and the iguanas.

The first thing that struck me upon entering was the impressive collection of plants. The zoo has truly created a lush and serene atmosphere with a wide variety of carefully curated flora. The well-maintained gardens and greenery provided a soothing backdrop to the animal enclosures and pathways, making the entire experience feel like a tranquil botanical garden.

Aquatic enthusiasts will be pleased to find an array of aquatic animals, including colourful fish and graceful turtles. The aquariums are clean, well-lit, and educational, offering insights into the diverse underwater ecosystems. The inclusion of both freshwater and marine species adds to the diversity of this tiny zoo.

For those who have a soft spot for reptiles, the snake and iguana enclosures are a must-visit. Ball pythons and carpet pythons, while not the most commonly found snakes in zoos, are on display here. Their enclosures are spacious and mimic their natural habitats, allowing visitors to observe these creatures up close in a safe environment. The iguanas are equally captivating, showcasing their unique personalities and vibrant colors.

The zoo also has a small collection of domestic cats, adding a touch of coziness to the overall experience. These feline residents are a hit with kids and cat lovers alike, offering a pleasant diversion from the other animal exhibits.

One of the highlights of this zoo is the small snacks and beverages bar. While it may be tiny, it offers a variety of finger foods that are perfect for a quick snack or a leisurely meal. The option to enjoy a refreshment while taking in the natural beauty and wildlife makes the visit even more enjoyable.

Although this zoo may not have the grandeur of larger facilities, its modest size and tranquil atmosphere make it a delightful spot for a peaceful outing with family or a relaxing solo visit. The dedication to maintaining the well-being of the animals and the lush greenery is evident throughout.

All in all, this small, tiny zoo with its focus on plants, aquatic animals, reptiles, and domestic cats, along with its cosy snacks and beverages bar, offers a refreshing break from the urban routine. It's a place where you can unwind, connect with nature, and appreciate the beauty of the natural world. If you're seeking a serene escape that's easy to navigate and appreciate in a short visit, this hidden gem is well...

I recently visited Dadar's Marine Aqua Zoo with high hopes of experiencing a delightful aquatic adventure. However, my visit left me deeply disappointed and concerned for the well-being of the animals, particularly the birds. The conditions at the zoo were nothing short of terrible, and the lack of hygiene and clean water was deeply distressing, bordering on animal cruelty.

First and foremost, the condition of the pets, especially the birds, was heartbreaking. They appeared visibly distressed, cramped in a dirty and open to rain enclosure that were clearly inadequate for their natural behavior. Many of the birds exhibited signs of stress and boredom, constantly pacing back and forth or plucking at their feathers. It was clear that their mental and physical well-being was being compromised, which is completely unacceptable.

Hygiene seemed to be a nonexistent concept at Dadar's Marine Aqua Zoo. The enclosures were dirty and unkempt, with accumulated filth and debris scattered throughout. It was evident that proper cleaning and maintenance were not a priority, leaving the animals to suffer in unclean and unhygienic environments. The lack of clean water for the animals, particularly those dependent on aquatic habitats, was particularly distressing. It is simply inexcusable to subject these creatures to such conditions, as it constitutes a form of torture and neglect.

As an animal lover, it was disheartening to witness the blatant disregard for the welfare of these beautiful creatures. Zoos should serve as sanctuaries, providing animals with a safe and enriching environment. Unfortunately, Dadar's Marine Aqua Zoo falls short on every aspect of animal care and conservation.

I strongly urge the management of Dadar's Marine Aqua Zoo to reassess their practices and prioritize the well-being of the animals they are responsible for. Immediate action is needed to improve the living conditions, provide adequate space for natural behavior, and ensure a hygienic environment for all the animals. Animal welfare should always be the highest priority, and it is imperative that changes are made to rectify the current situation.

In conclusion, my visit to Dadar's Marine Aqua Zoo was deeply disappointing. The terrible conditions and lack of hygiene, especially concerning the birds, left me appalled and concerned for the well-being of the animals. Until significant improvements are made, I cannot recommend this zoo to anyone who cares about...

My recent visit to Marine Aqua zoo left me utterly dismayed and deeply disturbed by the horrendous conditions I witnessed. It's difficult to find words to describe the appalling state of this so-called "zoo." The animals within are subjected to an environment that can only be described as a cruel nightmare. Enclosures are cramped, filthy, and devoid of any semblance of their natural habitats. It's painfully clear that the welfare of these innocent creatures is not a priority for the zoo's owner, who, far from being an animal lover, appears to be more of an animal destroyer. What's worse is the callousness displayed by the owner when confronted with concerns. My attempts to voice my distress were met with a dismissive and rude attitude. It's inconceivable that someone responsible for caring for these animals could be so hostile and unprofessional towards visitors. Adding to the horrors, the zoo shamelessly engages in the sale of exotic animals. This practice should be condemned and avoided at all costs if wishes to claim any semblance of being a protector of animals. The animals themselves appear malnourished, distressed, and overly stressed. Witnessing such magnificent creatures in such agony is nothing short of heartbreaking and unacceptable. To make matters worse, the entire environment is profoundly unhygienic, with foul odors, dirty enclosures, and inadequate sanitation. This not only endangers the animals' health but also poses a significant risk to visitors. In conclusion, I strongly advise against visiting. It fails to meet the basic standards of a reputable zoo and, instead, perpetuates animal cruelty, exploitation, and negligence. It is a place that should be avoided at all costs. Let us all do our part to protect animals and raise awareness about the suffering they endure in such dismal conditions. BMC and PETA please look into it, We dont want to see animals in this condition. The owner or the handler is also very rude and abusive. No information was provided there about the creatures. When questions were asked by the students, the answer from the owner was " ABHI MERA MOOD KHARAB HAI". These people should be punished with...

It's a privately owned zoo with a few exotic pet animals. From what I have gathered the place is run by a motley group of 20-ish year olds. The vision these kids have has my heart. I see a lot of bashing about how the animals are kept. The fact is the animals dont seem distressed. Yes..the place is not super great ..it's work in progress. But man, how these kids manage funding and daily upkeep of animals is a thing to wonder. We often jump into calling out people but would we offer a single penny for better facilities. If you want a five star experience please get a ticket to Singapore zoo or Dubai and sprint ahead. This is a place for young minds , curious minds and just people who want to experience feeding birds, holding animals and observe. A huge shout out to the founders for the mini aquarium ...in a "metro city" which cannot afford to host a single aquarium since the past 3yrs. Founders....I wish more people think like u ...more power to U .... Parents of toddlers...do visit once...Kids don't judge u see 🙈🙉🙊

This is a privately operated mini zoo sandwiched between the Mahatma Gandhi Swimming pool and Vanita samaj bang opposite the Devi ma temple at Shivaji Park. Though it is not a full fledged zoo and the animals and marine life are not so well labelled they seem to be well looked after and happy to be there. There is also possibility of taking selfies with certain animals and birds on payment of Rs. 100 in addition to the entry charge of Rs. 20/- It’s well worth a visit if you are in the area and with children to inspire curiosity in the little ones. I haven’t posted a lot of pictures so as not to take away the beauty and joy of visiting the place. Mr. Pawar attended to me during my visit there and was helpful and forthcoming with required information. I hope that they can improve the facilities and have more exhibits. All the best to the team here.
