Garnish Peninsula — Restaurant in Mumbai

The people at the counter are absolutely useless. They will never pick up the phone. The person who is supposed to take orders and the old man at the counter are NEVER in their place. They are ALWAYS inside (near the kitchen area) . God knows what they are both doing there everytime. Since both are inside, there is no one to answer the calls. It is also noticed that in the mornings (breakfast time), there is a dirty smell coming from the kitchen area. Their garbage disposal management needs to be improved. Also, if renovations can be done, it would be better. The place is beginning to look very dull and drab.

I ordered in from here. I have to say the food was really great, we'll cooked and well thought out. Even the ingredients were interesting. The mushroom tikka was stuffed with mustard, it was a very delicious change from the regular preparation. The butter chicken was true Bombay style butter chicken, which was what I wanted. I find sometimes the north Indian style is sweeter, but this was a great combination of flavors. We also got the chicken kebab with the egg or omlette wrapped around it, it was very well prepared and presented but it was a little less tasty than the other two dishes. I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Garnish Peninsula restaurant in Andheri East, Mumbai. I had placed an order for Paneer Crispy but received Paneer Chilly instead. Not only was the dish incorrect, but the taste was also not up to the mark. Additionally, the restaurant failed to provide any sides with my parcel.

It is unacceptable for a restaurant to make such mistakes and provide subpar quality food. As a customer, I expect to receive what I have ordered and to have a pleasant dining experience. I hope that the management at Garnish Peninsula takes this feedback seriously and improves their service to avoid such incidents in the future.
