Haldiram's - Infiniti Mall, Andheri — Restaurant in Mumbai

Have some shame! at least apologize for your staff being rude. Its been 10 months that I posted this review.

I am giving a 1 star just for how rude their staff is at Infinity mall Andheri. We decided to get a chaat from Haldirams and sit on the tables outside of the outlet (note* we were not inside haldiram). We were outside sitting on a corner table. My 1.5 year old was having chicken nuggets, one of the staff members asked us to vacate the table just because they don’t allow non vegetarian food.

I totally understand and respect it. But the staff member didn’t even have the courtesy to apologize or be kind while delivering this message. He had a straight face and looked at us like we are eating there for free or something. He kept looking at us till we leave. Honestly, I would never ask a kid to leave in middle of their meal.

Why don’t you guys put a big board saying ‘No non vegetarian food on our tables’ or ‘kids can’t even carry their food on the outside table’? Again - I respect the message but the way it was told, felt...

Extremely poor service. A cleaner picks up the soiled plates BUT he doesn't clean the table . I call the store manager mr ranjan & he tells me that the table cleaner and plate pick up guy is different. What a blatant lie ... I told him politely that business is not everything, cleaning is also important however he has a diff opinion so we had an argument and he passed some personal comments on me ( talking to his fellow mates ) ..... He was the CHALTA HAI types manager but for me haldiram is brand ...and brand need to always maintain their standards...I spoke to the area manager , mr ranjan REFUSED TO APOLOGIZE TO ME . Now imagine if a store manager has such high ego then you can imagine the customers ego after he pasing personal comments on customer.its really sad that even the area manager ( who was polite but could not do anything). Haldiram is a well-known and trusted brand across India, and we visited this outlet at Infinity Mall for dinner. The ambience was nice, with a decent seating arrangement, and the staff was courteous. The food overall tasted good, but I’d like to point out that the Chole Bhatura was made with Kala Chana (Black Gram) instead of the usual authentic Chole. When I asked the server, he mentioned that this is how Haldiram prepares it everywhere. The Bhatura size was medium, and for me, the dish was just okay, I personally prefer the traditional Chole Bhatura served at other places. This outlet is quietly tucked away in a corner of the food court near the escalator at Infinity, Andheri. Still, if you’re around, you may want to give it a try for the variety Haldiram...
