The food was worst we ordered for Dal Tadka, paneer tikka masala and veg kofta all the 3 items had average taste but the veg kofta had too much salt. I immediately called the restaurant and complaint he said he will send a replacement within the next 15-20 min. After 30-40 min when I called him he first didn’t known what I was talking about after that he very casually said he forgot to send the order and will send it now in sometime. When I raised my voice he very rudely said if you want take otherwise leave it.I asked him to cancel the order. We were at the dinner table and waiting for the food which was going to take almost an hour to reach us. Such an hopeless and worst service Saidev restaurant has come to. The taste is also degraded from average to worst. Pathetic quality of food. Actually not even worth a single star rating. The replacement order was eventually send to my house at 10:15 pm.when we were already settling and ready to sleep. I returned the order and the gave of the parcel which was delivered earlier to the person who came for delivery. This is not the restaurant that was before the lockdown. It has drastically bought down its standards. Please think twice before ordering...
Read moreSaidev Restaurant, nestled in JB Nagar, stands out as a gem among vegetarian dining spots. Having visited multiple times with both family and friends, I can confidently say it never fails to impress.
The highlight for me has consistently been their Pav Bhaji, which is undeniably the best I've had in the area. The buttery pav perfectly complements the rich, flavorful bhaji, making it a must-try dish.
Beyond Pav Bhaji, Saidev offers a variety of other delightful vegetarian dishes. One of my personal favorites is their paneer tikka, which is always tender and marinated to perfection. The crispy corn kernels they serve as a starter are also a hit among my friends.
The ambiance of the restaurant is warm and welcoming, ideal for both casual gatherings and family outings. The service has always been attentive and friendly, adding to the overall pleasant dining experience.
In conclusion, Saidev Restaurant at JB Nagar continues to be a top choice for vegetarian cuisine in the area. Whether you're craving Pav Bhaji or exploring their diverse menu, you're likely to leave satisfied and planning your next visit. Highly...
Read moreThis restaurant is a highly reputable establishment. I have been a loyal patron for the past 25 years. The owner and his team offer a warm welcome with their consistently pleasant smiles. The restaurant boasts a diverse menu featuring South Indian, Punjabi, Chinese, and several local specialties. My favorite dishes? It's difficult to choose, as I enjoy so many of their offerings. For a first-time visitor, I recommend the Onion Uttapam and Paper Dosa from the South Indian selections, and from the street food, Saidev's Pav Bhaji is unparalleled. Its aroma is so enticing that even passing by the restaurant creates a strong desire to eat it. From the Punjabi cuisine, I highly recommend the Paneer Palak, Kofta, Kadhai Vegetable, and Butter Naan (the best I've ever had), along with the Jeera Rice and Dal Tadka. The Chinese Triple Rice is also exceptional. The prices are reasonable, and the quality and quantity provide excellent value. The owner has consistently maintained the high quality and subtle flavors for many years. It is the best restaurant in J B Nagar and the...
