I recently did and I must say, it was an exceptional experience! The Maharashtrian cuisine here is absolutely delightful. Each dish bursts with authentic flavors that truly represent the rich culinary heritage of Maharashtra.
From the moment I walked in, the warm and welcoming ambiance set the perfect tone for my meal. The staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring that my dining experience was seamless from start to finish. They were knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations.
I particularly enjoyed the saoji thali and kolhapuri tambda pandhra dishes you loved, Each bite was a testament to the chef's skill and passion for authentic Maharashtrian flavors. The spices were perfectly balanced, and the presentation was beautiful. The service was prompt, nd the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. It’s clear that they take pride in their work, which enhances the overall dining experience. at least one time can do...
Read moreI recently visited this restaurant and was looking forward to trying their surmai thali and kolhapuri chicken thali. Unfortunately, my experience was subpar. The food didn't meet my expectations. The crab lollipop had a strong, unpleasant smell, which was a major turn-off. Additionally, the surmai fry was not marinated properly and had a rubbery texture, making it inedible. We ordered the thali, but they informed us that bhakri was unavailable and served chapati instead. However, the chapati was not even hot - it was thin and lacked freshness. They even didn't serve rice in thali or never asked for it.
The solkadhi was also a letdown, tasting more like flavored water than a rich, tangy condiment.
Considering the issues we faced, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to others without improvement in food quality and...
Read moreVisited House of Maharashtrian recently, and it’s truly a hidden gem for seafood and Maharashtrian cuisine lovers! The ambience is royal yet cozy — perfect for family dinners or foodie catch-ups. We ordered the Bombil Fry, Maharashtrian Chicken Thali, and the Surmai Thali — each dish was packed with authentic flavors and spices. The Bombil was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside, while the Surmai fish literally melted in the mouth. The chicken was spicy and flavorful, just the way traditional Maharashtrian food should be!
They also have a great variety of crab dishes and refreshing mocktails to go with the meal. The staff was polite, service was quick, and everything felt worth the price. If you're a seafood enthusiast, this place should be on your must-visit list. A complete 10/10 experience — definitely coming...
