Hyderabad Xpress — Restaurant in Mumbai

Hyderabad Xpress is a biryani delivery place located in Andheri but they deliver all over Mumbai. Yes, they delivered to Marine Lines without the quality of food getting lost which is quite commendable. They sent over quite a number of dishes and here's a quick summary:

Starters

Fried Chicken Kabab: Deep fried kebab pieces of chicken garnished with lemon slices and coriander. This makes for a good starter.

Sulaimani Chicken: Thin strips of chicken deeply fried. Didn't like this one much. Was hard to chew and lacking in flavours.

Veg Chatpata: Best out of all starters. Chunks of aloo and gobhi dipped in batter and deep fried, then cooked in chinese style with tangy sauces.

Biryani

Chicken Dum Biryani: Huuge pieces of succulent chicken, an egg and aromatic biryani rice. The classic biryani.

Chicken 65 Biryani: This one had Chinese styled chicken chunks cooked in soy sauce and chillies which surprisingly tasted quite well.

Chicken Tawa Biryani: I personally liked this one the best. It had spicy tawa chicken and loads of masala inside flavourful biryani rice.

We also had raita and mirchi salan with all the biryanis which went well with the food. Salan wasn't spicy at all though.

They have only one dessert named Double Ka Meetha which is basically bread halwa topped with sliced almonds and kesar. It tasted just fine.

Hyderabad Xpress has a long way to go with their biryanis considering their competitors but their low prices have given them an edge....

Hyderabad xpress is a delivery outlet located at oshiwara andheri. Specializes in wide range of authentic hyderabadi biryanis .The best part being that although they are based in andheri.They delivered biryani at my place in south mumbai. Biryani came warm ,was neatly packed and most importantly it came on time.

Starters

Veg chatpatta -A lot of veggies used in this chatpatta starter. Decent preparation.

Apollo paneer -A great way to begin .Paneer was soft and tasted nice.

Section of biryanis

Veg biryani -A nice spicy authentic biryani with layer of veggies in it.Basmati rice used .Spices used enhanced flavour of this biryani.

Paneer 65 biryani- Another authentic hyderabadi style biryani.Paneer used is very soft. . Highly recommended.Worth ordering.Have it with raita and mirchi salan. My personal favourite biryani of all i tried

Aloo 65 biryani-This was also a good biryani .Worth trying.A little dry biryani but if you have it with mirchi salan and raita.Its quite decent.

Double ka meetha-Star dessert and star dish of Hyderabad xpress.This tastes like shahi tukda.I personally loved it a lot. Must try and definitely worth ordering.

Overall food was decent and very reasonably priced. If you are authentic biryani lover then definitely try this one...

Fried Chicken Kebab The kebabs have a pretty good flavour, nothing different from the one's I've had at other places but they taste alright. The portion size is substantial, I'd say. can be shared among two people.

Chicken 65 Biryani This dish is what propelled the rating to the higher side. It is perfect in terms of every culinary aspect that matters in a Biryani. Characterized by a mouth-watering aroma, rich flavour and drool-worthy chicken pieces, it's one of the tastiest Biryani options in the menu. The quantity is pretty amazing, a large portion can be shared among two to three people.

Chicken Dum Biryani Another delectable dish, rich in flavour and aroma. The portion size is pretty good. Both the biryanis were served with a side of 'Mirchi ka Saalan', which tasted amazing.
