It was one of the worst experiences when I saw cockroachs on the cut vegetables while leaving the restaurant during night time. When you visit this place during night times, you are exited from the kitchen. It happened to be Very unhinged kitchen and they also tried to threaten me when I tried to take videos of the situation. They grabbed my phone and I was surrounded with 10 odd waiters trying to bash me up with my friend. We were surrounded and our coller was grabbed till the time we deleted the video. This is one of those bars you visit late night when all the wine shops are shut and you have nowhere else to go. When all else fails, this is that one place you can count on. When the stock runs out at 3 am, Ambika is your knight in shining armour (or rusted, depends how you look at it). It's not high on ambience, hygiene, looks or service but if you're looking for a place to just sit with your friends and get wasted, this is it. Their food is quite decent. I ordered for chicken lollipop followed by Surmai tawafry..The lollipop was okay however not great. The Surmai tawafry was a total tragedy. I am very much sure that the piece of the fish must have been kept in the freezer atleast for a week's time. It was stinking like a garbage and I had to eat it as they are going to charge me 320 rupees anyways. I have complaiined to the guy who served it and as well the guy in the cash counter posing like a owner of the place.
