JIMIS BURGER ® - Andheri — Restaurant in Mumbai

Jimis Burger happens to be one of those brands which surely doesn't need an introduction. Well known for their kickass burgers, definately made me intrigued to order some for myself over the past weekend. Below is a glimpse of my experience about what I ordered.

Delivery time: Very rarely you'll find swiggy faultering on this front. So, hands down a 5/5 to them for an on-time delivery.

Packgaing: This wasn't too fancy, but was done almost right to avoid any spillage.

Food: Here comes in the most trickiest part.

1)Jawbreaker Burger: This had probably everything under the sun that you can possibly think of. The monstrous beauty had 2 veg patties which were definately not enticing enough, also had a thick slice of cottage cheese, which totally lacked any flavour. In addition to that, Jalapeno poppers, which was simply a coating over the jalapeno popper and a whole lot of other things. The size of the burger was humongous, although when it comes to the taste, it lead to a total disappointment. Priced at 390rs + an addition of 20 bucks for a slice of cheese, it felt like an utmost waste of money. I am sure that the much talked about burgers here, aren't meant to just please the eyes, but to delight taste buds too. The most heart breaking bit was the quality of the cheese. The cheese slice felt rubbery and definately not worth spending extra 20 bucks for it. 410+ taxes for a Burger, surely is a good amount of money and the first bite of this one made me realise that it wasn't a wise choice. Everything between the buns merely turned me off, but I am glad atleast the buns were decent enough.

2)Cheese Tease Burger: The cheese in this one surely teased me, but in the wrong way. Same as above, really low quality of cheese slice. It almost turned into a plastic like texture during the transit and that says it all about the quality. Something good to cherish was the cheese potato patty. The taste was fairly decent, but the question remains the same, was it worth spending 250 bucks and the answer comes out loud and clear as a big NO.

3)Spiced potato wedges: The spice mix was good but the potatoes were inconsistently cooked. While I understand the concept of half cooked potatoes for fried and wedges, but these were mostly undercooked. I could feel the rawness and had to sadly take my hands off from one of the dishes I adore the most.

4)French fries with cheese: Similar to the wedges, the same problem of almost raw potatoes existed here too. More surprisingly, they weren't seasoned well. You could imagine the taste of french fries without it's best friend Salt, wouldn't sound compelling to most of us. The most heart breaking part was the cheese topped over the fries. Firstly, it was really minimal and secondly the quality was way below any acceptable standards.

5)Classic Lemonade: Packed in a smart looking bottle, this costed 89rs + taxes. While the entire world is aware of what a classic lemonade is, I did expect slightly more than just simple water, sugar and lime juice packed in a bottle, while paying a hefty price for it. I am not too sure whether 89 bucks was charged for a fancy looking bottle or the lemonade. In either cases, it wasn't worth the price.

Overall, it was a sheer disappointed from such a reputable brand and basis what I've experienced, this one's off my list forever.

Recommendation:

I am afraid that on this occassion, I'll not have anything at all to recommend.

Jimis Burger is THE place to be if you want the authentic burger experience. The menu covers pretty much everything. The food is mouth-wateringly delicious.

The ambience is simply perfect for a relaxed conversation with friends and family. The music isn't too loud, which means my friends and I didn't need to yell at each other for us to be heard, for me that is the SINGLE most important factor when it comes to judging ambience.

The service is quick, but there is no hurry to bring you the bill at the end of service and send you away. Although this is a good thing, our server took a really long time to bring us the bill and we needed to remind him thrice. We aren't complaining, but in the future, on days when I am in a hurry, I would like a prompt response.

There is not many options in the drinks menu and there is just one item in the dessert menu. But then again, this is a burger-place, not Baskin Robbins.

What we ate:

What we ordered: A classic chicken burger A BBQ paneer & bell peppers burger A blue cheese and maple bacon tenderloin burger A side of French fries A side of potato wedges A peach ice tea A lemon ice tea A ginger beer (ginger ale)

The food looked and tasted just perfect. I have to talk about the Blue Cheese and Maple bacon tenderloin burger. One would expect the blue cheese to give out it's characteristic unpleasant smell, but the proportion of the cheese in the burger was just perfect enough to retain the typical taste of the blue cheese minus the "fragrance". The maple bacon complemented the cheese just perfectly and the tenderloin was oh so tender!!!

The fries as well as the wedges were perfect. For those of you used to the trash McDonald's serves in the name of fries, this could be a whole new thing! Go there and try it to understand the difference.

🥤 Drinks We Tried: Chocolate Hazelnut Cold Coffee – Super refreshing with great presentation. We absolutely loved it! Blueberry Mojito – Amazing taste and presentation, a total hit! Malta Orange Mojito – A citrusy twist that my sister really enjoyed. 🍗 Starters: Dry Rub Chicken Wings – Packed with flavor and mind-blowing taste. Truffle Parmesan Fries – One of the best fries we’ve had, rich and flavourful! Chicken Crunchies Spiced – Perfectly crisp and delicious. A favorite for sure! 🍔 Burgers – The Showstoppers: They’ve launched a limited edition “Badass Chicks” fried chicken burger range—and it’s next-level! 🐔🔥 Their burgers have the perfect combo of crispy patties, soft buns, and bold flavours. Jimi’s has also been awarded Best Burger by Zomato & Swiggy in 2024 & 2025, and after trying them, we totally understand why!

Prime Chick Chicken Burger – Unique and full of flavour—my brother’s top pick! 🍰 Dessert: New York Cheesecake – The perfect sweet ending to our meal.
