JimMe's Kitchen is a Chinese restaurant in Bandra that has been around for over 30 years. It is known for its large portions and affordable prices. I recently visited JimMe's Kitchen with some friends and we ordered the steak and chips, dry chilli pork, and pork ribs.
The steak and chips were cooked well and the chips were crispy. The dry chilli pork was delicious and had a good amount of heat. The pork ribs were also very good and were tender and juicy. Overall, we had a great meal at JimMe's Kitchen and would definitely recommend it to others.
Here is a more detailed review of each dish:
Steak and chips: The steak was cooked to our liking and was very tender. The chips were crispy and had a good amount of salt. The portion size was large and could easily feed two people. Dry chilli pork: This dish was my favorite of the three. The pork was cooked until it was very tender and had a good amount of heat from the chilli peppers. The dish also had a nice sweetness to it from the soy sauce. Pork ribs: The pork ribs were also very good. They were tender and juicy and had a nice char on the outside. The sauce was sweet and savoury and complemented the pork well.
The service at JimMe's Kitchen was friendly and efficient. The food came out quickly and our waiter was very attentive. The prices at JimMe's Kitchen are very reasonable.
Overall, I had a great meal at JimMe's Kitchen. The food was delicious, the service was good, and the prices were reasonable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.

Read moreIts needless to add more to the praises to JK which it has already earned all these years. Will just put out my experience in here.
Wanted to visit this place since I had gone to IMBISS which is 50 meters away from this place. A Subtle place Off Hill Road. Planned to dine here after attending the YouTube Fan Fest ''17. Ordered. Spare Pork Ribs JK Style, Yang Chow Rice, Beef Tongue Chilly, Fukien Rice for four of us. Really was impressed by the preparation of the spare ribs which I had tasted back in two restaurants IMBISS and China Valley, and scores well on the scale. Was shocked to see Tongue Chilly in the menu since me and my friends tasted in Goa which was average and had an odd after taste. Fukien Rice scored high for me and really enjoyed the gravy over the rice and the blend of it. Overall was a good experience, tad disappointed with the service instead of few tables occupied. Will surely visit here again to try more on the Pork Section.
A small feedback to the management to present mouth freshener/ Candy after the meal, its...
Read moreThis place is a little hidden in a by-lane, so ask for directions (it's pretty famous with the locals) And just like it's location, the food here is also one of Bandra's most well kept culinary secrets! The restaurant is, to put it simply, bare. Simple metal seats, mica topped tables & an AC make for the 'decor'. But in this bare minimalism, when the food arrives, you are transported to another place. Jim-Me's has a VAST menu that has Veg, Non Veg (Chicken, Pork & the non-lynching kind beef). If you are unsure, or have a sensitive pallette or are allergic to anything, ask your waiters before every order. Each dish comprises of multiple different ingredients, which gives it a unique taste. The food, especially rice dishes are a little extra so ask for smaller portions or get ready to parcel the food! There's a small cake shop at the counter which you should give a try, but after all those exotic tastes, you would seldom go for...
