Hello everyone welcome back and i hope you all are doing great Weekends are always best days to explore new places and today it was jlwa at andheri.
Ambience:- Its a nice cozy place specially for people who want to enjoy a nice evening with your friends or families. The place is nucely illuminated and has many spacious tables wherein you can sit comfortably and experience a good vibe.
Food and drinks:-
Gauva delight and Sun and shine cocktail:- We tried a cocktail and mocktail. Both were superbly prepared.The gauva delight wa perfect combination of gauva and nice layer of salt at tips of glass served chilled with ice cubes.
Sun and shine was a perfect blend of tequila,vodka and orange juice.A perfect blend of each made to perfection.A pleasant cocktail.
Appetizers:-
Kurkure dhingri:- One of the best appetisers i have had of mushrooms in a very long time.2 layers of mushroom with stuffing in between and crisply fried and served hot along with crispy chura in the sides. A must have for any mushroom lover.
Corn and cheese kebab:- This is something unique and a patent dish for jlwa i feel.They serve a long sheekh kebab served with 2 pieces of naan along with dal makhni.The concept itself is unique with this unique combination served with mayo and green chutney. The kebabs are fresh and served hot. Overall its a unique and very much value for money dish.
Main course:- 3 cheese penne pasta:- For main course we tried their italian cuisine after hearing a lot of it Coming to the pasta it was a perfect blend of cheese and penne pasta served with a garlic bread.Coming to the taste it was very smoothly prepared sauce with nice herbs and white sauce. A good pasta for main course.
Jlwa veg pizza:- They have a unique base which is in house and they serve a nice huge thin crust pizza.The jlwa veg we tried had lots of toppings with paneer,corn,capsicum,olives topped with mayo sauce mint and lots of cheese. Its a truely best seller and i would say its worth it and anytime grab this one.
JLWA Sundae:- Its again a signature jlwa dish served in a huge bowl having a combination of vanilla icecream, brownie and fresh soft gulab jamun. Coming to the taste its a very different and unique dessert which initial was a surprise to me but after tasting i actually liked it.Every bite had vanilla icecream brownie and gulab jamunn which is a treat surely for people having a sweet tooth.
Verdict:- Andheri east area has been a heaven for all food lovers and jlwa is also among them.Very unique dishes in their menu to go along with the superb ambience. Overall a great place to visit if you wanna chill and relax along with good food and drinks.

Cuisines which are served at Jlwa - are really interesting. Modern Indian along with fusion with a progressive outlook and excellent presentation. It's one of the famous pub and bar of Mumbai.

We have started our Sunday brunch with signature mocktails - Virgin Strawberry Mojito Orange Punch Both are refreshing
Signature starters -
Koobideh Kebab - This is a Middle Eastern Non-veg dish. Huge chicken kebab, prepared by marinated minched chicken. Mild aroma of spices is present. Marination done with curd. Garnished with finely sliced onions.
Chilli Garlic Mustard Sole Fish - This dish has a stong influence of Bengal. Sole fish is basically a fleshy fish, without scales. Chilli garlic mustard have good presence in the dish Fresh fish cubes are marinated and prepared.
Signature Main Course -
Seafood Tikka Masala - This dish is awesome. Seafood tikkas are served along with an interesting thick gravy. Wheat malabar paratha is served with the gravy.
Lamb Chop Biryani - It's a classic royal dish of all times for all generations. Super tender lamb chops, aromatic moist biryani, beautifully garnished with dry rose petals and fried onions. Serve with raita. Really loved the presentation and taste of the biriyani.
Traditional Dessert (Holi themed)
Suleiman Ka Meeth -Gajar Ka Halwa with Thandai Must try this dessert dish, combination of two famous Indian festive mithais. Gajar ka halwa is prepared by desi ghee. Hot halwa, garnished with nuts served with cool thandai.

Read moreRecently visited this beautiful outlet of JLWA Andheri....they have both outdoor and indoor seating arrangements....as i entered the place i was ammused to see the beautiful decorations with neon lighting making it more eye catching..the bar counter is also nicely arranged with variety of seating arrangement with all of them being comfy. The music was also soothing and relaxing. As we got the seats we decided to order something refreshing to match the refreshing vibe of the place we ordered ✨ Pacific Blue (mocktail) It came with a glistening blue color blue caracao syrup with minty taste and refreshing soda added to it. It was really good one to have ✨ Pink lips (Cocktail) Its and vodla based drink which was as per name reddish pink in colour and served with unique presentation you can see in photos ... it's consist of grounded beetroot juice with syrups and lemon juice...it was somewhat strong and i will say must try from the cocktails
After this we ordered some small dishes ✨ Chillie garlic musturd sole fish- This one is the must one...you can order it without any hesitation if you're trying the seafood...it comes with fresh tender fish served along with tandoor onion and mint chutney..it tasted really great ✨ Shish touk We had never tried this one from other places so we went for it....and it exceededour expectations the charred Chicken served with fries and sauces gave it really unique and great taste
After these small plates we tried their main course ✨ Pulled chicken peri peri pizza It doesn't have much of cheese but the taste is really satisfying and quantity is also up to the mark...the quantity of chicken is also good and taste was yumm.. ✨ Mutton laal maas- I will say if you like the mutton this is the must must try dish from the menu...the mutton is soft and gravy was so delicious that we finished it completely and still wanted some more...it is served with laccha paratha which was also soft and tastef awesome.
After all those dishes we wanted something sweet to complete the meal ✨ JLWA sundae It's signature dessert of the restaurant which comes with a bowl full of scoops of ice cream and whipped cream with angoori gulab jamun and crushed brownie making it a completely different and great dessert.
