After a long time visited a pizza serving outlet. This was brought to my notice by one of my friends who had tried a pizza from here and he liked it. I went in with one of my friends. The inside seating area is quite compact and only 4 people can sit. Outdoor seating area is comparatively spacious one and around 15-20 people can be accommodated. This has been the trend of Pizza Parlors lately, they are more focused on deliveries, so cannot complain. When you sit in the indoor area you can watch the pizza being prepared in front of you since the partition is transparent which is good to watch.

This outlet is fairly new. It's been less than a year and they have a good word of mouth in the area nearby. They own just this one outlet and none other so far. You can get delivery in approx 12kms area by Zomato or Swiggy. The store was managed by a gentleman named Kushal. He was very friendly and polite. The pizzas were served in approx. 15mins which was quick considering they don't use a frozen base. They prepare the base from the dough when the order is placed. Something that makes Keste different from others is that they use sour dough which makes the dependency on yeast which is not so good for our health.

Food

We ordered two Pizza to begin with, thinking that we order something else later. But these pizzas were so filling that we could not order anything else after that. The first one we ordered was SPINACH RICCOTTA. This was an amazing combination of Mozzarella Cheese, Fresh Jalapeno, Black Olives, Babycorn, Spinach Ricotta, pickled red onion and Garlic oil. This one did not look that great but tasted amazing. A quite different option compared to the regular options out there and a healer version too.

The next one was called a FEAST. This is much loaded version of pizza with Tomato Sauce, Mozzarella Cheese, Zucchini, Onion, Fresh Jalapeno, Garlic and Roasted Bell Peppers in Pesto sauce. I am in certain love for Jalapeno and bell peppers. Any pizza that has these two toppings, I "by default" like it. This one due to the ingredients, is on a fresh and tangy side and not on the spicier end. Someone who likes a bit spicier must use chilly flakes. The pizza looked amazing and the toppings felt fresh.

Something is worth mentioning was one of their Dips called GREEK GODDESS. This was the highlight I would say. Superb texture and amazing taste. If you are ordering garlic breads, please order this to take your experience to the next level. Not sure what goes into it, but it certainly is an amazing amalgamation of various ingredients.

Closure

My pick out of the two Pizzas would be Spinach Riccotta for sure due to its taste, uniqueness, and healthier rating. Upon visiting the outlet, they have a new-age way of sharing the menu. They provide you with a card with a QR code which will open the menu in your phone browser. Cool right? The card is added to the picture. Have a look. Overall, a satisfying experience. Also I loved their tag line: This is it. It is also mentioned on the delivery box when you get the pizzas delivered at your place.

Genuine & not a paid review:

1. Vibe & Atmosphere (3.5 on a scale of 5):

This is a miniature of the large Pizza joints we normally relate since the Business model is primarily focus on delivery and not dine-in. The dine-in area hardly has two full tables, that too literally kissing each other. Definitely not a place to unwind unless you want to grab a quick bite literally on the road.

2. Food & Drinks (4 on a scale of 5)

A) Veg Delight Pizza (4 on a scale of 5):

One of best Neapolitan Pizza I’ve ever had. The cherry on the top was the pesto bits. They tasted like heaven and it blended so well with the toppings. You could feel an array of flavours when the red pizza sauce unravels on your tongue. It was quite authentic and toppings (primarily Zucchini , Capsicum and Onions) were succulent and fresh. Full marks for that. I thought the pizza could have been more crunchier given we opted for dine-in.

3. Service & Hygiene (3.5 on a scale of 5):

The service was upto the mark and nothing special or disappointing that caught our attention. I paid in cash so it took a while to get them the change.

4. Is it worth your money ? (4 on a scale of 5)

A) Pro’s:

The Pizza just leaves you in the middle of the streets of Italy, it’s such a perfect infusion of flavours and probably a piece of art. Brownie points for the pesto dressing on the top, it just stepped up the whole experience by a notch.

B) Con’s:

Too congested seating area, I can completely understand why because they are driven by their Business model which is delivery centric. A little more crunchiness could have elevated the pizza to another level, but never the less, it was bang on at so many...

Keste Pizzeria is located in Veera Desai Road, Off Link Road.

The place is small & has inner as well as outer seating available. The inner seating is not spacious. So preferred the outer seating. The place is decorated with Edison bulbs. They also have a live kitchen.

The place serves Italian cuisine. They are specialized in Neopolitan Pizzas. From dough to sauces everything is made in house here. The spread of both veg & non veg dishes is perfectly balanced. The quality & quantity of food is perfect. Price wise its worth it.

Mr.Khush made our experience here really great. The service was nice & staff is friendly. Met Mr.Khushal the Head Chef & had a great conversation with him.

What I Ate ~ Appetizers ~ Garlic Dough Balls - Knot shaped dough balls tossed in garlic oil & Italian herbs, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Served with Marinara dip. The dough balls were perfectly cooked & the garlic oil with a mix cheese was the best.

Mains ~ ( 8° inch ) Veg Wild Shrooms Neopolitan Pizza - San Marzano Tomato sauce, Mozzarella cheese topped with 2 types of mushroom Button & Shitake with caramelized onion & truffle oil. The pizza tasted just amazing.

Pesto Chicken Neopolitan Pizza - Pesto & San Marzano Tomato sauce with mozzarella, mustard roast chicken, black olives & roasted bell peppers. The marination of the chicken was perfect & the flavour of mustard was balanced nicely. Overall tasted awesome.
