The only thing that worked for The Library Cafe over its bad menu was the view & they being pet friendly.

We stay close by & have tried many things on the menu hoping something will turn out to be good, but with no success. Yet it was our preferred place due to the view & pet friendliness.

However, we were told yesterday by the staff as we walked in with our dog that as of last week, the owner has refused to allow dogs Inside; and he didn’t know that dogs were allowed before. So much for being an ‘owner’.

Among soo many places at carter road, we got into this place for the shwarmas. Overall a nice place. Seemed to me a little small. Nice ambience. Good seating arrangements. The fancy mocktail bar counter didn't seem necessary for me. The men at the counter didn't have great bartending skills either. The place is famous for its Lebanese cuisine and the falafels and shwarmas reflected it. Those were quite nice. The mocktail I ordered was average. The service was pretty average. They have a small seating area but its always busy... its just because the food is really good here We had Mexican shwarama, spicy special shwarama , spicy special shwarama in rumali roti...

They were really good ... i personally like rumali because it feels less bread and more filling

Chicken mix platter - really good and tender chicken It is a mix of chicken tikka, reshmi kabab and pahadi tikka topped with cheese - a must try
