Hey good morningggggggg buddies, this is a small place at carter’s road. Earlier there used to be a restaurant here named Mezbaan, which I had never ever visited nor wanted to. No reason whatsoever, but just didn’t.
Anyways, so yesterday morning, I was very hungry. I had my cup of sugarless coffee (I’m naturally too sweet to have any processed sugar added to my beverage, wink) with a chapati. And just when I finished my coffee, a dear friend calls and says let’s go walking to Carter Road in mumbai and then we’ll have breakfast at this place. I was like I just had my breakfast!!! But I was so excited to go for a walk in the morning, i consented and we went walking for about 2 1/2 kms from home. Reached this place and I was hungry. Small sit in place with a huge sit out overlooking the sea. But it was filled with warmth. The attendant, a young girl whose name I forgot to ask and another young lad named Zubair. He was so cute and had a smile on his face as he walked up and down taking orders and delivering the same.
So we ordered an English breakfast between the 2 of us - me and my friend. It consisted of 2 slices of brown toasted bread, a masala omelette, a hash brown, 2 cherry tomatoes and a glass of watermelon juice. Both of us have small appetite, you see. We were satiated. They have many options available for breakfast, of course. And lunch too.
We both have decided to raid this place again on coming Saturday and have kheema pau = mince mutton and bread. Excited.
And after having cleared our bill, I was VERY pleasantly surprised when Mr. Zubair opened the door for us and bade us ALLAH HAAFIZ = May God Protect You. It really touched the fire of my heart and I patted him on his cheek, as I would to my own son. Bless you, Zubair and the young girl too. That smile and that warmth filled my heart with happiness!
Do visit this place for a quick fix to your hunger. And both of us walked halfway home and then my friend suggested let’s call a rickshaw to take us back home....

With its breathtaking sea-view location, this cafe adds a touch of magic to every visit. Not only is it a popular destination, but it's also conveniently easy to locate. Step inside and be greeted by the cozy indoor and outdoor seating arrangements, complemented by a diverse menu that caters to both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. To start our culinary journey, we treated ourselves to the indulgent flavors of Mocha and Belgium hot chocolate. For a quick and satisfying bite, we couldn't resist the tantalizing Butter Fried Prawns and Cajun Grilled Chicken Pizza. The Belgium Hot Chocolate left us craving for more, leading us to also order a steaming cup of Cappuccino. The attentive staff went above and beyond by graciously warming up my Cappuccino upon request. Keep in mind that on weekends, this place tends to get quite busy as people flock to Carter Road. Despite the crowds, our experience was truly...
Read moreWe visited this place on 23th July 2024. We ordered Mushroom and cottage cheese burger(priced 450 rupees) , eggs benedict , peach ice tea(they used syrup and still charged 300rupees which tasted like cough syrup and looked liked it as well), Iced cappucino. Everything looked appetizing but little did we know that I would was in for a sad day. After 1 hour of having the burger I had extreme severe pain in my stomach. I literally could no sit or sleep in any way. And I don't even have a sensitive stomach so it was very evident that they used something which had gone bad. The iced cappucino had burnt taste and when we told them to Replace it they just added milk to it and gave it back The eggs benedict came with muffins which were dry as a desert. Please do not waste your money here and ruin your health. The AC is very cramped and it's very...
