Navya — Restaurant in Mumbai

So this was my farewell dinner with my cousins 🙁. After having a series of discussion on the place to dine we settled on Navya by Tunga. I happen to have tasted food from other Tunga managed restaurants and this was my first time at Navya. As we entered The Regale we could se beautiful waiting area with huge centre piece hanging from the ceiling. As we proceeded to Navya which is situated on the ground floor we could see beautiful seating arrangements. We instructed them about our buffet booking. To start the buffet we were offered a welcome drink and I suppose it was pinacolada which was yumm. They then served chicken soup which was okay. Then the starter marathon started. For non-veg starter they had chicken tikka, basa fish in mustard sauce, prawns coated in crispy batter and coriander chicken Chinese style. And for veg starters they served lotus stem stir fry, grilled veggies, Paneer tikka and ashmani tikki which had sunflower seeds. We simply loved all non veg starters and in veg starters we liked paneer tikka and ashmani tikki. The servers were very friendly and cooperative. Then we proceeded to their huge spread of main course which had chicken biryani which tasted amazing as it had lots of ghee in it, pasta, tofu in black bean gravy, chicken curry and many more which we dint try as we were totally full. Still managed to have space for desserts. They had amazing spread of desserts. We went to this place since it is near from my office. Not knowing what to expect. It was a team dinner and most of our team members are like gannet. We always have to look for buffet menu to satiate their hunger. Menu was great, price was sorted, location was convenient so we decided to visit this place. Once we got in, we were welcomed with a complimentary mocktail as soon as we settled. Staff was very quick and polite. Even before we could go through the menu, soup was served. Similarly starters followed. There were 4 starters for non vegetarian and not really sure how many were for vegetarian. Regular fried basa fish fillet and prawns in some chinese sauce which was awesome. I ignored the basa fish completely from the second service. Chicken tandoori tikka and some chinese chicken recipe, here also I completely ignored the chinese chicken starter. It's not that it was bad but I am not much of a chinese food lover. Exception prawns in Chinese sauce. After like couple of starters round I turned to main menu, biryani and raita, chicken gravy, veg and non vegetarian salads, various other deserts especially rabdi ras malai was too good. This one star is only because there is no option to give zero star. I had the most horrible experience with Navya by Tunga and especially their Manager. I had placed an order with them via Zomato which was undelivered for one and a half hour. When I contacted the delivery guy, I was informed that my order was wrongfully given to another person. Let aside the basic courtesy to remake my order and send it to me, the Manager showed no sign of accountability and left the restaurant without even discussing this order mess up with us. How is this person even appointed as Manager who has zero sense of responsibility. Highly disappointing. Moreover, the staff of the restaurant is so pathetic that instead of empathizing with us and the poor delivery guy who has been standing there since the past 1.5 hours, the staff started shouting at the delivery guy who was merely doing his job. They have definitely ensured that I will never visit this restaurant nor order from here and will ensure that none of the people I know...
