Banjara located at the buzzing location and very much industrialised area at Marol is a hub for families and employees to have a good time with their peers and family. This wonderful restaurant offers an aesthetic ambience with quality service and of course with delicious food.
The attendants are very courteous and they are ready to assist you as soon as your eyes move in search for someone. They make sure to see everything is proper and you having a great time.
We went for buffet and the food was really delicious and fulfilling, when we entered the restaurant it was crowded with 3-4 families having a good time. The staff started serving starters to us one by one, it became quite difficult for me to keep the track of the dishes with their names.
Few of the starters which I remember are as follows-
2)Fish fry- another sizzler, I don't know the name but it was delicious.
Fish koliwada- this was my personally favourite, it was spicy and coated with some maida.
Vegetarian sizzler- This was a combination of multiple vegetable, which included cauliflower, carrot etc and it was sweet and spicy, it wasn't fully cooked and hence it had a very crispy texture.
5)babycorn- this was another dish which I liked very much, crispy baby corn coated in flour was a must.
Main course- The main course was a buffet and so we had to go and serve it to ourselves. They had vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes segregated.
Bhareli bhindi, fish curry, mutton, chicken, rice, chicken manchow soup, biryani etc in their main course. I tried very little as I was already full with the starters but whatever I tried was delicious. Highly recommended.
Dessert-
Beverage-
Blueberry lemonade was a very refreshing drink served at the very start of the dine, the blueberry pulp was in the bottom so mix it well.
Kiwi drink was mixed with spirit which was another great combination I got to try.
My experience was very memorable and everything was really good...
Read moreI had visited this hotel in month of August with my family. Mangalore itself has very few options for good branded hotel and after trying out Ocean Pearl, I thought let me give Goldfinch a try. They had 3 categories of room, Superior, Executive and Suite. Superior was there lowest category and I saw the room photos online and I didnt find that room appealing, so I had opted for the Executive Room which was more expensive than superior. I had done this booking 12 days in Advance through their reservation desk with confirmation mail for Executive Room. At the time of check in, I was allotted my room and at that time I confirmed with the front desk that was it the executive room and the person there confirmed that yes sir it was an executive room. But once we went into the room, I found the room very shabby and didnt look anything like the executive room photo the hotel had displayed online. I immediately called up the Front Desk and asked weather they had given me a superior room instead of an executive room, but the front desk person again said that it is a Executive room only and there executive room looks like that. After that I demanded them to show me alteast one of there superior room, listening to this the front desk attendant was bewildered and than I demanded to either give me an executive room or make me talk to the GM. After 10 mins they told me the truth that the hotel was over booked and they did not had any executive room empty so thats why they alloted me a superior room. I found this very unethical as I had paid higher price for the executive room fully in advance and they just tried to give me a superior room. After all this, the hotel understanding they were exposed finally offered me a Suite room. The suite room which they upgraded me to was quite good and I was satisfied after that. The hotel over all has some cleanliness issue and maintenance issue which I would have happily over looked and rated them 5 star if I hadn't had to face all this issue at the time of check in. However food here is really amazing and very reasonably priced. They serve amazing authentic manglorean food and also have a great...
Read moreNEVER EVER EVER EVER BOOK THIS HOTEL IF YOU PLAN TO STAY IN A MUMBAI HOTEL. There was not even a door mat or a carpet in the room. There was no bathroom mat. There were no towels provided. The exhaust in the washroom did not work. There was an ELECTRICITY CUT. CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT? Every hotel allows visitors and they do too but they created a fuss when my sister visited me and told me that I should have informed them in advance bla bla bla. The hotel staff was very very unhelpful. My room partner fell ill and asked for 4 lemons. They said we will send only 3 lemons and rest will be charged. REALLLY? its bloody 5 rs. for a lemon dude. We are professionally into fitness and had our own meals. They created issues even on heating our food. The room services were complicated and when we called on one number for any order, they told us to call on another extension and then another and this went on and on. We booked it to so we could enjoy the swimming pool on the terrace but it was in a very ugly condition and covered with those plastic sheets. They did not even have a free of cost steam room. CAN YOU IMAGINE? If we ordered anything from outside, they didn't even care to get it delivered until our room by their own staff. They were rude, unhelpful and all their website pictures were pretty fake. It was as expensive as any 5 star hotel so please never choose to stay here. They did not even have enough soaps in the washroom and when I moved that plate on which they display their shampoos, it had a black water kind of a thing floating. DIRTIEST AND MOST UNCORDIAL PLAY...
