China Gate MIDC Andheri East — Restaurant in Mumbai

Dear All, URGENT AND VERY IMPORTANT Today I would like to highlight few very important things about this restaurant which use to be one of my favorite until few months back. Following are the series of incident that happened over the past 10 days. Just last week I had ordered chicken thread from this restaurant and you all will not believe what was in it a stapler pin fried with the chicken and my guest had taken it out from his mouth while chewing, it was so upsetting moreover it was so dangerous. Because I had good relation with the manager Mr. Madhusudan i just did complaint and told them this should not be repeated. He just keeps saying sorry and the same gets repeated. Few days back had ordered food for my CMD and it had so much of salt that he could just not eat and he returned it back even that time I had complaint it to Madhusudan; before that I had asked to send non veg food and he had sent veg food. This is how they are operating these days. And finally on 31st Aug, I had ordered lunch for my colleagues this time it was just not tolerable my friends had their last day at work and while we started having our soups and switched over to chicken Malaysian noodles guess what my friend found cockroach in it. I am just so short of words that i don't know what to say after this incident they have name in the market more over kids enjoy Chinese the most and this is now they are taking care of the hygiene in the already affected country. I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone they just charge us so much and zero in cleanliness and hygiene don't know where do they store their food and supplies very bad and disappointing never expected this from the so...

Location – 3/5 It’s close to MIDC and Seepz, and is easily accessible.

Ambiance – 3/5 Quite spacious place that can accommodate multiple large groups of people at a time. Simple décor and table arrangements to add Chinese feel to it.

Food – 2/5 I have had the buffet here a couple of times, with larger groups and have ordered in food once. The experience was bad, every single time. The quality of the food is not good at all considering the price that you pay for it.

Drinks – 1/5 I haven’t had alcoholic drinks here, hence cannot comment on that. Mocktails were terrible. They just tasted like sugar syrups.

Service – 1/5 The staff is polite. However, the service is extremely poor for a restaurant of this range. During my recent visit, we had opted for the buffet. They just kept serving veg food. The non-vegetarians in our group had to wait over 30 minutes to be served non-veg dishes. That too after asking repeatedly. While serving, the waiters suddenly skip a couple of people at the table, and move to the others. They looked confused.

When we asked about the spread, they initially said that prawns will be served, but we were later informed that it’s not part of that day’s menu. At the counter, the main course and the desserts were not being refilled as and when they got over. People had to return to their tables and come back later to check if the food item has...

This place is great! Authentic Chinese food with welcoming and charming ambience. Atmosphere is chill and cool and the staff is also really friendly.

Ambience is very charming and chill with great interior. Two sections one for Indian and other for Chinese. Perfect seating arrangements and spacious. Quite expensive but the worth the price.

The food is absolutely amazing! Everything we tasted melted in other mouths. From the starter to the dessert the quality and tastes of everything was outstanding. Highly recommend!

We opted for Ala carte instead of buffet. The food we had over here.

Appetizers: All are must try Chicken Hot Basil Bar-Be-Que Chicken Paneer choice of sauce Chicken Steamed Dumplings (Recommended)

Main Course: Chicken Malaysian Noodles (Recommended) Chicken Hakka Noodles Chicken Singapore Fried Rice

Desserts: Brownie with icecream

Service was delightful and very professional. The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience.
