A Highly Disappointing Experience - I recently organized an office party for JPMorgan accommodating around 60 guests, and I regret to say that our experience was extremely disappointing. The food was not served as expected. Several starter dishes were late or served just twice which is particularly frustrating when catering for a large group. Many of our guests were left waiting for their meals, and the chaos among the serving staff only added to the frustration. To make matters worse, although we had booked the venue for the entire evening, the staff continuously informed our guests that we needed to leave by 10:30 PM. This created an awkward atmosphere for everyone and made it difficult to enjoy the celebration. It felt incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful to those of us who had planned and paid for this event. One staff member, Akshay, stood out for all the wrong reasons. He was outright rude to multiple guests, treating us as if we were a nuisance rather than valued customers. It was disheartening to witness such poor treatment, especially after we had invested time and money into this booking. A day before the party they called me to inform me that they will start playing Techno music post 10 wherein I had an agreement while booking that they will only play Bollywood music and that was a deal breaker for me. But they ended up doing this last minute that I had no time to change the venue even if I really wanted to - it was a big red flag.

Overall, this experience at Social was far from the enjoyable office party we had envisioned. I would not recommend this venue for large corporate gatherings based on our unfortunate experience, as you’ll end up losing respect in your social circle due to their unprofessionalism. It’s been a couple of days but I’m not hearing an end to the complaints I’m receiving from everyone which is really why I had to write this review so that no one else faces the same...

The Perfect Spot to Unwind After a Busy Day

Nesco Social is an ideal hangout for anyone looking to relax and recharge with friends after a long day. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between chill and lively, making it a great spot to spend quality time with friends.

Their food options are varied and impressive. We sampled several standout dishes: the momos, which were tender and packed with flavor, and the mac & cheese pasta—rich, creamy, and indulgent, a must-try for any pasta lover. The cheese chilli toast also didn’t disappoint, with the perfect balance of cheesy goodness and a spicy kick. Additionally, the cheese corn balls were a delightful treat, perfectly crispy on the outside and gooey inside. The nachos were also noteworthy, generously topped with fresh veggies that added a nice crunch. The French fries were another highlight—crispy and satisfying, they paired perfectly with our drinks.

One unique offering is their chakna tiffin, which is an excellent accompaniment to a drink, adding a local flair to the experience.

One of the highlights here is the DJ, who knows how to set the mood, making Nesco Social a great venue for dancing and partying with friends. The space is quite generous, so even when it gets busy, it never feels cramped.

In terms of drinks, they offer a wide variety of options to suit every palate. The staff is friendly, attentive, and happy to provide recommendations for both food and drinks, adding to the overall welcoming experience.

Having visited multiple Social outlets across Mumbai — including Powai, Infinity Mall, Juhu, and Godrej Vikhroli — I can confidently say that Social NESCO stands out when it comes to ambience and space.

The ambience is the clear winner here. The interiors are spacious and well laid out, making it feel more relaxed and breathable compared to the more cramped settings of other branches. But it’s not just the inside — the outdoor vibe around NESCO adds so much to the experience. The corporate energy from nearby offices, a well-dressed crowd, and the buzz of surrounding restaurants all create a dynamic, urban atmosphere that’s hard to beat.

It’s also easy to reach — parking is smooth, and with so many alternate dining options around, it always feels like a good, safe bet when you're in the area.

Unfortunately, service is a letdown. The staff tends to be unenthusiastic and not particularly attentive or warm, which really affects the overall dining experience.

As for the food, it feels like the Social chain has been stuck in time. The menu is outdated, uninspired, and screaming for a revamp. If you've been to Social a few times, you’ll realize there’s rarely anything new or exciting to try. The taste is average at best, and if you're here primarily for the food — it might not meet expectations.

Social NESCO is best enjoyed for its music, drinks, and vibe — not for its food or service. It’s a cool hangout spot, especially if you’re catching up with friends or grabbing post-work drinks. Just don’t expect culinary thrills or standout...
