Last night at Bayroute NESCO, Goregaon was an evening straight out of a dream! The moment we entered, we were swept away by the beauty of the place – the interiors radiate a majestic Turkish charm, with warm golden lights, intricate detailing, and a vibe that feels both luxurious and comforting. The poolside tables just add that extra touch of magic, perfect to sit back and relax while soaking in the soothing ambience. Every corner of the restaurant feels so thoughtfully designed – it’s one of those places where you just don’t want the night to end.
The staff was extremely warm and welcoming, guiding us through the menu and ensuring we had the best time. Their hospitality truly made our experience even more special.
Coming to what we had 🍴✨:
Starters:
Dijaj Al Bukhar – tender chicken with smoky cheese and tomatoes, a perfect balance of flavours to start the evening.
Moroccan Chermoula – spiced just right, with a freshness that instantly reminded us of traditional Middle Eastern tables.
Main Course:
Lavash Crust Chicken Kabsa – aromatic rice wrapped in a crispy lavash crust, served with yogurt dip. Comforting, hearty, and full of flavour.
Kebab Koobideh – juicy Persian kebabs with saffron rice and grilled veggies, absolutely soulful.
Dessert:
Floating Balloon of Middle East – a delicate, sweet surprise with cardamom, saffron, and rose notes. A true Middle Eastern signature to end the night on.
Cocktail:
Turkish Malt Whisky – smooth, bold, and beautifully infused with Turkish coffee – easily one of the best cocktails we’ve tried.
Bayroute is not just a restaurant – it’s an experience. The combination of breathtaking ambience, Turkish-inspired luxury, soulful food, and warm service made it one of the best evenings with my girls. Every moment felt picture-perfect, and we left with memories that will stay for long.

Stepping inside, the ambiance is immediately captivating—bright, full of light, and spacious, with a stunningly large bar counter. On weekends, the experience is elevated further with live music, creating a truly enchanting backdrop for your dining adventure.
Our journey began with their impressive cocktail list. The Brilliance was an absolute standout—a masterful combination of malt, ginger, and pineapple juice with a clove and sesame rim. It’s easily one of the best whiskey-based cocktails I've had all year—a true showstopper. The Sumac De-Light was equally captivating, a strong, visually appealing drink blending vodka, gin, tamarind, and pomegranate, served with a dramatic cloud of cold smoke.
For appetizers, the Feta and Pine Nut Stuffed Falafel were a delightful discovery. These chickpea nuggets, perfectly stuffed with feta and pine nuts, were served with rich Shatta and tahini sauces. They also brought out a small bowl of olives, a thoughtful touch. The Harissa Chicken was another winner, a perfectly spiced starter that paired wonderfully with our cocktails.
We also sampled the Findik Al Pesto, a delicious sourdough bread with a fresh cilantro and pine nut pesto. It’s not spicy at all and a definite recommendation.
For mains, the Quwarmah stole the show. This boat-shaped pizza was an absolute revelation, filled with Kuwaiti curried chicken, golden fried onions, cheese, and cilantro. It was rich, unique, and utterly delicious.
Ending our meal with the Chocolate Kunafa was a brilliant choice. This dessert was a dream—a large chocolate bar melting over a bed of cheesecake and salted caramel sauce. It was simply sublime.
Overall, Bayroute is a rare find where every dish, even the vegetarian options, is unique and delicious. We had an incredible evening and are confident...
