Have so many college memories with this place. Not particularly this branch but when I was in national College I used to get drunk here on 1+1 jug beer and there was a time a Facebook friend from orrissa took me to khar jughead's and it was mostly me who drank both the jugs and I kid u not, I puked on her dress...she was sitting in front of me and I couldn't control it. And she is such a lovely person that she even paid the whole bill. I was just a student and poor. I have yet to return her the money for that and plus she chipped in 13k for a mobile which I lost.

Now, aged 27, I went there alone and just ordering one 500 ml kingfisher ultra can I couldn't drink it entirely and wished someone could be there to share it with. Hell I couldn't even eat french fries and mashroom chilli with it because my diet have been reduced to such minimal. And once I wished a place like poptates to be always full and chaotic ...now I couldn't handle it to be crowded because it doesn't let me focus on the food I am eating so there is no enjoyment.

I've been a customer of this restaurant for over 25 years, from the days when it was known as Jugheads (yes, just like the iconic Archie's character!). Now called Pop Tates, it remains my all-time favourite spot. Coming back after a decade abroad, I was thrilled to see Mr. Swami still working his magic. The warm welcome and impeccable service left me in awe!

The friendly staff here is exceptional, and a special shoutout to Amarjeet, or AJ as I affectionately call him, for his outstanding service. Their Thai red curry rice and Sizzlers are truly out of this world—flavours that transport you to culinary paradise. Though I do miss the Peshawari Pizza, which they unfortunately discontinued, this place still holds nostalgic memories as our very own Central Perk for me and my friends.
