Finally got to visit Kake Da Hotel's Mumbai outpost in Andheri West, and what a delightful experience! This 94-year-old legacy brand has successfully brought the authentic flavors of Delhi's Connaught Place to our city, and I'm absolutely thrilled! 🎉
THE FOOD: Started our meal with the Dahi Ke Kebab - and wow, they literally melt in your mouth! So soft, creamy, and perfectly spiced. The Bhatti Ka Murgh was another highlight - smoky, succulent, and beautifully charred with that perfect tandoor finish.
The main course was where things got even better: Palak Paneer - Rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. Not watery at all! Butter Chicken - Hands down one of the best I've had in Mumbai! The gravy is velvety smooth, perfectly balanced, and the chicken is tender. This alone is worth the visit! Breads - The Lal Mirch Paratha and Hari Mirch Paratha had just the right amount of heat, and the Kulcha was pillowy soft and fresh off the tandoor.
THE UNIQUE DICE DISCOUNT: Now here's the fun part - Kake Ka Dice-Count! You get to roll dice on your bill and win a discount. Such a fun, interactive concept that makes the dining experience even more memorable. It's not just about the food, it's about the whole experience!
AMBIANCE & SERVICE: The staff was courteous and attentive. The ambiance captures that old Delhi charm while being contemporary enough for Mumbai's vibe.
LOCATION: Conveniently located at Hubtown Premiere High Street, JP Road, Four Bungalows, Andheri West - easy to find with ample parking in the area.
If you're craving authentic North Indian food or missing Delhi's iconic flavors, this is your spot! Perfect for family dinners, catching up with friends, or even a special date night.
Definitely coming back soon to try more from their menu! Highly...

First off, the staff were absolutely fantastic. Seriously, they were so good! They were super helpful and friendly, always there when we needed something, but never hovering. They made us feel so welcome and comfortable, which made our whole family dinner even better. Their attention to us was spot on!
Now, let's talk about the food – the real stars of the show! The kitchen here clearly knows its stuff.
The Chicken Barra Mirch Tikka (Kaka's Special) was out of this world. Each piece of chicken was so tender and juicy, packed with incredible flavours that had just the right amount of kick. It was a taste explosion that left us wanting more!
But the absolute highlight, the one you HAVE to try, was the Bhathi ke Murgh KAKA Special, also known as the Zeera Chicken. Oh my goodness, this dish was mind-blowing! The chicken was unbelievably soft, and it had this amazing, deep cumin (zeera) flavour that was unlike anything I've ever tasted. It's a rich, delicious dish that shows just how talented the chefs are. I'm already dreaming about having it again!
