Yesterday, I had the pleasure of visiting a remarkable restaurant in Lower Parel that specializes in authentic Malvani cuisine. From the moment I stepped in, the village-themed ambiance with hand-painted walls created a warm and inviting atmosphere, reminiscent of coastal homes.

The menu boasted an impressive array of seafood delights, and here are some standout dishes that made my dining experience truly memorable:

Bombil Tawa Fry: The crispy perfection of the Bombil Tawa Fry showcased the chef's expertise in preparing Bombay Duck, delivering a delightful crunch and flavor. Kaleji Shallow Fry: The savory Kaleji Shallow Fry, expertly prepared, retained its succulence while the blend of spices elevated its taste. Tisrya Sukha: A culinary revelation, the Tisrya Sukha, a dry and spicy clam preparation, highlighted the freshness of the clams and aromatic spices. Spl Prawns Thali: A seafood enthusiast's dream, the Spl Prawns Thali offered a diverse selection, celebrating the rich Malvani culinary heritage. Spl Mutton Thali: Living up to its name, the Spl Mutton Thali presented a variety of mutton preparations, a true celebration of Malvani flavors. Wade: The traditional Wade added the perfect texture, making each bite an exquisite journey through coastal tastes. The service was impeccable, and the staff's attention to detail added to the overall warm and hospitable environment. Swaad gharcha is an Awesome outlet newly opened in lower Parel area. The place is really very awesome and the ambience is really very cozy and different. They basically have a theme of village. With varli paintings drawn on the tables. The upper roof is made up of bamboos. And they have a traditional style of serving water in copper glasses. They had made a theme of authentic Konkan style house and food. Along with this I would like to add that if you never tasted a tipical Konkani food then you will really have to visit here and try out their various sea food items. They serve varieties of sea-foods like surmai,bombil,pomfret,prawns etc. All the sea food items were fresh and tasty. I was in love with the ambience. I have ordered Chicken Thali with Wade Bangada Thali with Chapati The chicken Thali includes chicken Sukha which was really very awesome and good in taste. It's a best seller of the restaurant. Coming to the bangada Thali the bangada thali was really very good with a very large piece of bangada and bangada curry. They also serve steamed rice along with it. We visited today at Swad gharcha located near pheonx mall lower parel. The place is quite small approx 12-15 can accommodate at a time. Pure Maharashtrian and authentic sea food and chicken dishes you all get here. Perfect place for seafood lovers. The ambiance is classy and really enjoyed our today's lunch and it was really worth travelling all the way from Thane. The owner as well all their staff's were welcoming and courteous. The server assisted us with the excellent service.

What we had asked for :

1. Halva thali ( 2 Big size fry Halva fish served along with bhakri, Jawla, fish curry ,rice and sol kadi)

2. Bombil thali (4-5 Pieces of Bombil fry served along with chapati, Jawla,fish. Curfy, rice and sol kadi)

Both the thali's were super delicious. The fish was properly marinated and was absolutely good in terms of taste. All superior quality of ingredients are used here you can observe.

For desserts : All the dessert here are in-house made and were dam luscious.
