Shams Fast Food — Restaurant in Mumbai

Happened to visit this place yesterday with friends. We were looking for a place to have quick bites and then we found this hidden gem at Mohammad Ali road. This place is known for its unique combination.

“SHAMS FAST FOOD” and PAHALWAN JUICE” are owned by a single owner. One is known for quick bites and the second one is known for beverages. Located at Charni Mohammad Ali road. They have 50 flavours of popcorn to try out. One can also have unlimited Pani puri. The pahalwan juice was opened in 1952, known for its premium quality juice.

WHAT WE HAD

1)VEG CHEESE BURGER- We had this signature burger which tasted delicious. The patty was perfect and had a perfect combination. The burger presented well.

2)DAHI SAMOSA CHAAT- Had this stunning combination of dahi and samosa chaat. It also had sweet and medium spicy chutney. Tasted well and the combination went well.

3)SUGARCANE JUICE- Had this chilled sugarcane juice which tasted well. The taste was amazing.

4)CREAMY SUGARCANE JUICE- Now here’s a twist on this juice it had vanilla ice cream and caramel popcorn along with sugarcane juice. It tasted amazing as the combination went well.

Just came across this amazing fast food centre located in Charni Road busy street.

Was truly happy with the hygiene and fast food service they were providing so decided to try few things from there menu ,

1. Pahalwan’s natural sugarcane juice: The freshly serve sugarcane was extracted with proper hygiene and was taste of the sugarcane juice was refreshing.

2)Dahi puri, I love this dahi Puri loaded with boiled corns , moong and salad with thick dahi and yummy chutney . Perfectly made!!! surely try this✔️✔️✔️

3)Veg cheese schezwan paneer pizza: The fav from my visit is truly this pizza loaded with perfectly amount of toppings and balances in taste. *Highly recommended *

4)Veg cheese masala toast sandwich: Was amazed to that they have maintain authentic taste of everything street food which is cool😅

5. Popcorn: Another omg moment was they are the only one in Mumbai who provide 50 flavours of popcorn with reasonable price. I personally like strawberry, blueberry, caramel and cheese popcorn Do try cheese one*

Located in Mohammed Ali Rd, right next to Old Shalimar Hotel, Pahalwan Juice center and Shams Fast Food is one of the hidden treasures of Mumbai. Running since 1982, they have a variety of juices, unlimited chaat and 50 flavours of popcorn to offer with hygienic and quality ingredients. Tried the dry fruits sugarcane juice which was made from fresh green cleaned sugar cane sticks. They all had caps on and was very mindful of cleanliness. The dry fruit sugarcane juice was unique as it was a mixture of dollop of dry fruits, caramel popcorn, icecream and sugane juice! Loved the combo even though I was unsure about it initially. Who doesn't like pani puri, and make it unlimited! They also had unique chaat dishes, one specifically was the baked potato chaat dish which had a smokey flavour and loaded with cheese which had to be eaten whole liek a pani puri to get all the flavours hit you at once! The popcorn options are plenty and packed to the brim. Totally worth it and a must...
