TBG- The Biryani Guys — Restaurant in Mumbai

Had got this craving for biryani and came across the name "The Biryani Guys" on Zomato. The name itself indicates that their speciality is biryani and I clicked the order button!!!

Dhunar Chicken Tikka- some tikkas with biryani always works wonder! Completely satisfied with the taste, preparation and the quantity of the pieces. Served with mint chutney

Chicken Awadhi biryani- the boneless chicken pieces marinated in some mild creamy gravy forming the base of this biryani. Unlike the spicy ones , this is a smooth creamy biryani perfect for anyone who enjoys the mild spices and creamy malai tikkas in Awadhi style!!

Butter Chicken Biryani- This had Butter chicken base, a bit on the sweet creamy side with tang of tomatos. The pieces in this were boneless, tikka-ed and beyond perfect! Each biryani is served with a portion of raita.

Now everything else!!! As seen in the pictures, the items were packed nicely and there's no leakage or tampering. The packet also has sticker, denoting the temperature of people handling the food. They also provided a sanitizer along. The food was delivered...

TBG - Andheri

Firstly, the hygiene was up to the mark. Temperature check (chef, handler and rider) sent along with the parcel. Zomato delivery was on time. Coming to the packaging, no leakages, perfectly spill proof. 35-40 minutes to b precise once I placed my order. Still, the food was warm.

What I tried:

Mutton Seekh Kebab: It was juicy, very soft and tender. The chutney comes along with was very nice. Perfect in taste and texture was nice. Do try.

Tandoori Chicken (Half): It was so tasty to be honest. Marination was perfect. A must recommended for Non-vegetarian lovers.

Chicken Tikka Biryani: Delicious Chicken Tikka Biryani loaded with spicy marinated chicken tikkas, onions and flavorful saffron rice. Very happy to see Biryani was not at oily and hot. Perfect blend of long grain rice, spices and chicken pieces. Good to go to try this one.

Gulab Jamun: Perfect end to an amazing meal.

Overall, the food was fresh and piping hot with a good aroma. The quantity was adequate considering the pricing.

Was craving biryani and having heard a lot about TBG finally ordered from here. Must mention that this was one of my most relishing delivery meals. The food was so aromatic, tasty and delightful! I tried the following items:

CHICKEN AWADHI BIRYANI This was malai chicken biryani and honestly couldn't have asked for anything better! The quantity was great and the chicken was cooked to perfection and was insanely tasty! This is a highly recommended dish!

5 SPICE BONELESS MUTTON BIRIYANI A biryani for all the mutton lovers. A little on the spicy side, but the masala on this was really good. Went great with raita and the mutton was well cooked.

TANDOORI CHICKEN CHAAP Great lollipop style tandoori pieces cooked in tandoor. The masala was great and the aroma from this dish made my mouth water. Simply a great appetizer to have!

CHOCOLATE MOUSSE A really sweet ending to a great meal. The mousse was a little on the dark chocolate side and a great treat to have!

The packaging of TBG was intact and the delivery was also very prompt!
