Kissa - Stories Over Food — Restaurant in Mumbai

Today I visited the Kissa Cafe which is located in Andheri. This place has very lovely ambience and the rooftop seating arrangement too. The view from rooftop seating area is awesome their staff and service is really nice. The staff is very courteous and polite. They greeted me very politely when I entered the place. Even they explained all the dips and the dishes which they were serving I loved all the food but the mocktails were my favorites and I also love the nachos with chicken keema I will elaborate what all I had,

1. pink Floyd Mocktail This mocktail is made up of strawberry crush ,orange pulp, pineapple and vanilla ice cream It is more kind of a sweet mocktail and it is good for someone who doesn't like very harsh tastes.

2. Waldorf This had green apple syrup, lychee apple and mint.It strongly had the flavor of green apple only so if you love the green apple then you should go for this mocktail it is very similar to green apple lemonade which we usually have at various places.

3. chicken smoked dim sum As you can see the picture I have uploaded the dim sums look really good. They provided chopsticks for it and had a dip sauce with it. They were pretty good and yummy.

4)Nachos with chicken keema As you can see in the picture there are various dips with the nachos mainly the chicken keema was yummy and it had different tips like cheesy dip, salsa, jalapenos, guacamole etc. I really enjoyed eating this dish I would highly recommend this for you all

5. cheesy garlic bread For the cheesy garlic bread I was expecting more of garlic taste in this but all I tasted was cheese if you are a cheese lover then you should go for this otherwise you should just order normal garlic bread which is without cheese,It seemed little expensive for the quantity but taste was fine.

finally for the dessert we had blueberry cheesecake they have two options one is eggless or with the egg cheesecake was pretty yummy and the blueberry jam was adding more flavor to the cheesecake I am a sucker for cheesecake so this was a really good one I love this and I think you should go for it if you visit this place. If I haven't talked about the ambience and view. I again want to tell you all that the view is really great and the ambience is so pretty and lovely . you can go for cute dates or you can go out with your friends and also they have seating arrangement downstairs where you can go with your family to and overall talking about the food ambience and their service it's all great I would definitely recommend this...

An amazing new place opened in Oshiwara Andheri. The name itself makes the justice Kissa which means story and for food lovers it's story over food. With amazing ambience and awesome cuisines to try. The staff here are very trained, Edward and Sunil both our assisting staff gave us great recommendations and gave various details about the dishes we ordered. Ambience is very well made especially the rooftop which is soothing for perfect dinner date. An amazing place to hangout with friends and family. The food served has been properly made where one can get perfectly fine taste of the dish. In mocktails we ordered - Kissa Spitzer - a freshly made guava mocktail which had refreshing taste and served in Margerita glass with basil leaf on the top Pink Floyd - an authentic Australian drink with strawberry and orange juice blended in vanilla ice cream with a rose petal on the top

In food we ordered - Mexican Paneer BBQ Bao - Paneer tossed in BBQ Sauce with veggies stuffed is soft Bao and steamed accompanied with pickled cabbage. Basil Pine Mut Fondue - cheese fondue made with mixture of basil and pine nuts served with veggies and croutons and extra pine nuts and basil leaves Baked Veg Lasagna - an authentic italian famous dish of layering of White Béchamel Sauce and Italian Mariana sauce with exotic veggies baked in an oven with some of the best cheeses like Parmesan, Gruyere, Emmental and Cheddar baked and fired to give the perfect golden finish and soothing to the pallet

In desert we ordered for Double Chocolate Mousse which was amazing with double layes of chocolate of white chocolate and brown chocolate which was filling out the crave for sweet.

From mocktails to desert everything was perfectly made and served with love❤️ Overall great experience🎉

Food 5/5 Ambience...

It was Our Anniversary and with the 10 o clock deadline, Sunday and 50% occupancy, it was near impossible to get a booking. after a lot of trying we managed to get a booking on Zomato with the butler and the Bayleaf but within a couple of minutes they called to cancel and I asked why they said they have to book and cancel as they could lose their Zomato booking. Since I was confirmed there I had cancelled Kissa (which was the old Almond flower), We decided to take a chance and within 10 minutes Kissa Honored my cancelled reservation. That's called customer service! Kissa is just opposite Flags at Lokhandwala.

The Restaurant was very warm and homely but it was a bit crowded, There was live music with Vocals and guitar belting out lovely songs to keep up with the ambience. We started with a nice Sangria for Nomita and a moonshine Grilled Pineapple beer for Aniket (it really had pineapple but thankfully no chunks) Our first starter was the Mexican chicken bao, Next up was the suggestively name H**ters style chicken wings and this is a must order and it was tangy and spicy

Satay chicken is an all-time favourite and this was also to our satisfaction The truffle wild mushroom risotto was so creamy and filling and had the right amount of seasoning Tortellini basil Genovese was a mouthful to pronounce but was really well done. Some crisp garlic bread was ordered as an accompaniment and not only did it look good, it also was crisp and full of great taste The cost was pretty reasonable and since I have the Zomato pro plus account got close to a 30% discount off the total cost, Mind you have to pay via your Zomato account. There is valet parking.
