Read moreStumbled upon this place a while ago and it’s quickly become one of our go-to spots when we’re craving proper North Indian food in the city. Sardaarji doesn’t try too hard — it just delivers solid, flavourful Punjabi food that actually tastes like it should.
The tandoori chicken comes out smoky and juicy, the dal makhani is rich and slow-cooked, and the rajma galouti is one of those dishes you keep thinking about long after the meal’s done. Also, don’t miss the paneer makhani sliders — buttery, soft, and full of flavour. The chaaps are perfectly spiced, and the mutton sukha has that deep, bold flavour that hits just right.
What I like most though is the vibe — it’s casual, open-air, and actually feels like a proper dhaba tucked into the middle of Andheri. On weekends, there’s live dhol and music which adds to the whole experience. It’s not just dinner — it feels like an outing.
Prices are fair for the portions, and the food is consistent — which is rare. If you’re in or around Andheri and looking for something that’s not your usual cafe scene but still delivers on flavour and atmosphere, Sardaarji is 100% worth...
Read moreTHE MANAGER TOLD ME TO SIT IN THE FRICKING BASEMENT AND HAVE DINNER AFTER WAITING FOR MORE THAN AN HOUR. If there as an option to choose negative stars if not no stars that is what i would mark this restaurant as. The restaurant manager has no sense or respect for the customers dining. The owner too is so spineless and unhelpful. They are giving tables to parties and pax who came after us. Despite reservation the table was not ready even an hour later. They don't realise the reach I have in the restaurant industry and literally will make sure this restaurant regrets how they treat their customers. And I'm not even over exaggerating it's that bad their service. That too to a pax to 10 people. High ticket bill. Their loss, i rather starve than dine here Also the owner and manager keep arguing with each other to a point that it's embarrassing. They think running a restaurant is a joke. Pls literally go to a dhaba but...
