Tendulkar's Matsyagandha — Restaurant in Mumbai

I visited this small food joint with absolutely no expectation. But little did I know that an ambush of enthralling flavours was waiting to quench my craving! Tendulkar's Matsyagandha is run by a humble couple and their team with utmost passion and dedication to serve good, fresh, authentic goan/malvani sea food. This joint comes with no puffery, no gimmicks; just a simple yet satisfying food experience. The kitchen is managed by Mrs. Tendulkar who strives her best to serve every dish with perfection and undoubtedly tops all expectations. Mr. Tendulkar takes care of the hospitality and needless to say does it incomparably. He will make you feel as comfortable as your family. I shall definitely return to this new favourite of mine looking to trip on good taste again!

My experience with Matsyagandha was very disappointing. i would give a rating of 0/5. This was my third horrible experience with them. I had ordered a parcel for prawns sukka but they delivered me prawns with gravy totally dipped in oil and It was extremely spicy. I was told over the phone the cost was Rs.300 for 12 medium sized prawns but they had sent very tiny prawns which were uncooked too. So I called Matsyagandha to let them know, but the owner was extremely rude to me over the phone and then there was another girl on the phone who was equally rude without any mannerism. In the past i also had an experience that the surmai fish I had ordered was uncooked, after eating the fish I vomited. I dont recommend this place to anyone. They cheat people for both the price and the quality of food. P.S. they need to work on...

Superb experience today at Tendulkars Matsyagandha.

Home food fresh food and lovely food. Husband wife both foodies and both chefs run and own the place. Also both GSB which makes them super qual for this cuisine.

Dishes eaten Bombil fry 5/5 Sol Kadi 5/5 Prawns Sukha 5/5 Bhakri 5/5 Chapati 5/5 Surmai fry 4.5/5 Surmai curry 4/5 (piece was small and bit over tangy but fresh) Chicken sukha 4/5 but I had it after having prawns so need to try again next time on new palette.

Service is 6/5

Very accessible from linking road goregaon west. A must try place.

AC was chilled and nice. Place was neat & clean.

The bill was just 3100 so it's a steal.

Parking can be an issue so travel with driver or uber.

Try ordering on Zomato/Swiggy but do try this mom...
