What the best thing since the era of chocolate? How about huge decadent multi layered cake? In a couple of months, The Bake Room opened in the Mulund. Owner and Baker says the bakery first opened as wholesale bake shop, selling goods to local mob and by special order. As the business grew, they have expanded with better interiors, menu and seating arrangements.

With mostly positive reviews on all platforms, The Bake Room is slowly making its name as one of the known faces in the baking industry. Specializing in desserts and baked goods, this establishment has opened its boundaries to good quality finger food and snacks.

What we were served: Cheese Poppers in Paprika Sauce, Farm Fresh Pizza, Popcorn Bhel, Spicy Paneer Burger, Simply Aloo Burger, Peri Peri Cheese Sandwich, Cheese Garlic Bread, Oreo Shake, 24 Heaven, Napoleon, Dutch Truffle, Rose Chili and Guava Colada

Cheese Poppers in Paprika Sauce - A spoonful of sauce on each popper and you can guarantee these tasty treats will disappear in no time flat! The flavor of the smokey poppers matches perfectly with the spicy paprika sauce, and of course it’s heat is in good company with the medley of spices tasted in each bite.

Farm Fresh Pizza - It is a cheesy, spicy and crispy pizza which leaves you mouth-watering with a great Italian taste left behind. Even carnivores will enjoy this no meat basic pizza as it's loaded with vegetables.

Popcorn Bhel - This unique snack is very tasty and totally hassle-free. It resembles a perfect fusion of sweet (caramel popcorn) and spicy (green chilies). Go ahead and satisfy your mid-morning or late afternoon hunger pangs with this crispy, nutritious treat! A perfect partner to your tea!

Spicy Paneer Burger – A zesty and scrumptious paneer patty sandwiched in a fresh burger bun with creamy mayonnaise is basic and heavy.

Simply Aloo Burger - Indian-style potato patties stuffed it into a burger bun calling it a simple day!

Peri Peri Cheese Sandwich - A perennial favorite, soft melted cheese mixed with peri peri and pressed, buttery toasted between veggies. Too mainstream to taste.

Cheese Garlic Bread - There's regular garlic bread, and then there's THIS Cheesy Garlic Bread! Soft on the inside, crispy on the edges, the perfect cheese/butter/garlic.

24 Heaven - Yes, you heard that right. Not two, not nine, but 24 layers of pure heaven. Not only does it look delicious, but just one bite of this pastry can transcend you into a dimension filled with peace. And to top it off, it also has a subtle flavor of coffee in it. Simply delish!

Napoleon - A perfectly layered napoleon is a show-stopping dessert; slicing it, however, can be a tricky matter. When done, the cake comes out soft, moist and delicious! 3-layered cake with flavors so unique that your taste buds will surely be tingling viz. Pistachios, Rose and Chocolate

Dutch Truffle – It is a type of chocolate confectionery, traditionally made with dark chocolate. It is moist and dense and you will love every single bite of it!

Guava Colada - To make this fruity guava pulp a little zestier, we've got a killer drink for this cool blue colada that'll knock the leis off your guests.

Constructive Suggestions:

Spicy Paneer Burger patty needs to have softer and larger chunks of paneer to get the real taste of it

Peri Peri Cheese Sandwich has no tint of peri peri and tasted just like ordinary toast sandwich

If it was farm fresh pizza, it had less veggies. If it was Margarita pizza, it shouldn’t have any veggies except tomato and basil

Oreo Shake may have oreo chunks to give a bite to it

Rose Chili is off the menu as it had no taste of chili in it

Long story short, The Bake Room serves the best decadent cakes only to whip up your imagination. However, they are trying their best to take the snacks and finger food a notch higher.

The Bake Room is a peppy cafe situated in one of the prime streets of Mulund. It is a funky casual cafe to grab on some delicious munchies and spend some good time with delicious food. The cafe functions from 10.30 am till almost midnight and has a variety of quick food. The Bake Room serves only vegetarian but don't take it as a flaw because their food is great enough to make you adore vegetarian food too ! The ambience is too casual and cool with white comfy chairs and tables with a food describing words wallpaper and lots of tempting desserts to overwhelm you.

The Bake Room Signature (TBR Signature)

This was one of the tastiest milkshakes i ever had. The appearance of it creates sugar rush and trust me every sip is blissful. One important part about TBK is that they do not add any sweetners or artificial flavors to their shakes which means everything added in the shake has its own contribution to the fabulous shake.

Red Velvet Shake

This one is truly a blessing to those who love Red Velvet.

Oreo Milkshake

I loved the way they present their shakes. Topped with whipped cream and dusted flakes with an oreo on it, this milkshake was heavenly.

Paneer Slider

This was on the tangier end with Paneer and veggies sauteed in a tangy sauce.

Apple Iced Tea

The bottles of these were too cool and the flavor of the iced tea was nice and strong.

Veg Puff

Crispy on the outside with well stuffed veggies on the inside.

Baked Vada Pav

A healthier option towards our favourite street food. Perfectly baked and good taste.

Smoked Paneer Wrap Good amount of mayo and sauces in the wrap with wholesomeness.

We also had 3 sandwiches. They seemed to be very nutritious and impressive taste. Mexicana Sandwich. Spinach & Corn. Healthy Wealthy All of these were well presented with fries and dips. We had 3 types of fries. Fries are really special and carry a huge significance in every meal. The fries served here came along with delicious dips.

Jalapeno Fries

These were very crispy only the size of the fries was small.

Cheese Fries

These were on the sweeter side. Piri Piri fries The best of all was

Piri Piri fries.

Perfectly spiced and crisp.

Coming to a very important and the main dish Pizzas. Exotic vegetables topped on every pizza with luscious cheese.

Margarita Pizza This has become my favourite pizza here. The sauce they use and the amount of cheese is so amazing you'd love it.

Farmville Lots of veggies farm style over a thin crust.

Mushroom Salsa The pizza looked good but couldn't taste it since i'm not a mushroom person.

Spicy Paneer Burger I liked it how fluffy and soft the burger bun was with a thick layer if paneer patty topped with an amazing flavoured cheese. It was totally magical how so many flavors were tingling in every bite at the same time.

Now coming to the speciality:- 24 Layer Chocolate pastry - This is their best pastry and you shouldn't miss it.

Caramel Crunch Crunchy caramel in an edible chocolate circular gate shaped pastry. Soft bread inside with cream and caramel. Also try the Nutella Nudge Waffles and Exotic Fruitology. They're too amazing and exquistely presented. You can also try the chocolate spoon, Tiramisu, Dutch Truffle pastry, Rainbow.

The Bake Room - Paradise For Chocolate Lovers ♥️ This place is located near to the R Mall , which has some very cute interiors reminding of how the chocolate plays an important role in each and everyones life. They just dont serve desserts full of chocolates , but they also have a finger food menu which will light up your taste buds and bring a complete package of happy tummy.

Popcorn Bhel : HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ♥️

Unique bombay style bhel with combination of spice and caramalized popcorn instead of regular bhel mixed with bell pepper , onions , tomatoes and chillies. A must must try!

Pizza Wedges :

Baked potatoes mixed in with pizza sauces and cheese made this dish taste like pizza only. One can have the best taste out of it by putting oregano and chilli flakes on top.

Cheese Balls With Paprika Sauce : HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ♥️

Poppers filled with too much of cheese and corns and tossed in their inhouse made paprika sauce. The sauce was amazingly delicious and finger licking. Worth a shot!

Nachos Special :

Regular nachos with 3 types of sauces and added mint and beans. Taste was good and quantity was worth the price.

Pav Bhaji Fondue :

Bombaiyya style bhaji served in style of fondue with added cheese. The pav were cut into small pieces and dipped in butter and sprinkled cheese. Overall , nice dish!

Aloo Tikki Burger :

Heavy aloo tikki patty along with lettuce , spicy mayo amd served with fries and tomato sauce and mint chutney. Taste was good.

Stuffed Garlic Bread :

A differently served garlic bread with the base as brown bread and stuffed with olives , jalapeno , corns and lots of cheese. The taste was super good and tasted more nice with sprinkled oregano.

Strawberry Milkshake :

Strawberry syrup mixed with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream along with a thick milkshake underneath. A raw strawberry was also garnished so as to have the natural feel of strawberry shake.

Peru Chilly Mocktail :

A usual peru juice with added soda. Taste was good , nothing extraordinary.

24 Heaven Pastry : HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ♥️

Huge 24 layered chocolate pastry mixed with milk chocolate and dark chocolate together. Also garnished with chocolate syrup. Truly , an amazing pastry to have at this spot!

Rainbow Pastry :

Delicious creamy pastry comprising of 4 different flavours like blueberry , kiwi , rose and pineapple. The cream was very nice and fresh. The bread was soft as expected. Overall , a drooling pastry.
