This is was my fourth visit to The Great Wall and I am literally bereft of words for describing how good it was. The most mesmerising thing about the restaurant is its interior/decor; it has hardly changed since 1988 yet so elegant and the moment you walk in, you are transported to China. Light instrumental chinese music also adds to the experience with the burbling sound of the waterfall (always try to get a table near the waterfall). Nestled in the basement of Leela Mumbai, it is still probably the best places in town to catch a peaceful/wonderful lunch. This time I took the bigger set lunch (not the express one) and it was fantastic. Every dish had a thought of why it needs to be there and it tasted all authentic. The highlight was the Manchow Soup (the best I ever had) and Konjee Crispy Lamb. Unbelievably good. Dim Sums here are worth Million Dollars and I am not kidding. Try their Har Gow, Sui Mai and and Cripsy Prawn Cheung Fun and y’all believe it. It almost feels like you’re dining in a Michelin starred restaurant in Hong Kong/Singapore. The restaurant is 35 years old and has matured in a way to get things right by default. It was always blessed with talented mentors from London & Singapore and the food quantity remains consistent as well as high. Chef Milan Newton deserves a special praise. He’s been in The Great Wall since 1992 and is an expert of his craft. The Nair’s of The Leela Group are in no mood of letting him go anytime soon. Also giving a shoutout to Mr. Glenn for giving an amazing/entertaining service. He was always attentive and very respectful. There’s something about The Great Wall that is very appealing to me and I am somehow emotionally connected to it now. The restaurant has my...

The manager is so professional and so good that he makes you feel great all the team. As soon as you need more water, you have more water, another spoon, another dish, everything is cleaned up so good.
Went there twice as we were hosted at The Leela hotel, and it was probably one of the best restaurants we had in India so far, even tho Indian food is outstanding, we felt like this Chinese restaurant was a mixture between Chinese and Indian which made it even more impressive.
Tasted so many different dishes, but If i had to choose something, any kind of prawns were just great. Moreover the lobster and the crab were great.
Strongly recommend it and i will be back next time in hosted at The...
