Navratri Ke baad Jab Pet Se Aawaz Aayi Chicken, Fatafat se Doston ke Saath mein Pahuch Gaya The Punjabi's Kitchen.

So met some childhood friends for some nice non veg dinner at this restaurant. It was praised a lot by one of my friends so was looking forward for the dinner, but was a mixed feeling as service really needs a LOT of improvement. We had to wait over 45 mins to get our starters 😔. Even after instructing the manager who took the order that the garlic naan should be served along with the starters the naan was served when we had almost finished our starters. And then when we asked them to take the naan away as it's no longer needed. The same naan was served in the main course instead of a fresh one. Also we had to keep on trying to get the attention of the manager or staff to try and get something ordered or anything at table which doesn't feel right. Mind you this place is very popular for its food because when we walked in at 8 pm on a weekday for dinner the place was already 75% full. . Coming to the food : The portions are huge and you won't complaint on that but again some dishes are really tasty and some are just okay. . This is what we had Banjara Murg : Fantastic Starter very tasty yummm. MUST TRY Rawas Fish Tikka : Priced at Rs 900 the tikkas were soft but they were very bland and I had to play Holi with green chutney with the fishes so that I can eat them. This was enjoyed by one of my friends but I didn't really like it. You can give it a miss. Delhi Butter Chicken: Was decent but the Butter Chicken was loaded with pieces of green chillies and it becomes troublesome to remove the pieces and eat. Better opt for the normal version. Garlic Naan : Huge Naan and two people can easily share one naan. . So Total Bill for 2 starters, 1 main course, 2 Garlic Naans and 1 Fresh lime soda was Rs 2300.

VFM : 2.5/5 TASTE : 3/5 Location: Andheri...

Poor Experience.

Food took over 45 minutes to reach the table, 3 reminders later.

Taste was below average. Mutton bhuna had hard to find pcs of mutton. 90% gravy of tomato and the same was served.

Fish Pomfret the first item on the menu on the Chinese side at INR1500 was worthless. It was stale fish fried, seved with a mayo. Please explain me the costing for heaven sake.

I did not have the heart to order anything after these. We had ordered dal, rice and rotis to go along.

Other folks on my table wanted to believe we ordered wrong. Let me clarify, the fish dish was suggested by their senior staff member and bhuna ghost is a age old recipe on the menu. Why do I call him a senior staff coz twice the owners came and called for him to attend to their friends as guests.

A very unwelcoming and unworthy experience. This place was suggested by a friend and while I will keep my reviews in the open space alone; I would say there is only a little chance you will have a good experience.

I paid approx 4k for a meal of 3 folks. The left over food was handed over to someone who may eat without a expectation.

Let me add a line or two on the staff response on our feedback. We served the same fish there as well, they did not complain. Bhuna mutton did not have mutton pcs, he tosses the spoon around to find a small pc and it breaks and mixes in the gravy. Overcooked mutton, lack of texture and even taste.

We were served food in parallel to a family that came 40 min after us. They occupied the table that was adjacent to us and was vacated while we waited.

There was not a single word of apology or remorse (even distant) that a family's lunch got spoilt.

Time, money, effort all went to the drain...

I went to this place after hearing lot of praise but the experience was nothing less than pathetic. I went with my wife for dine in and there was waiting of 15-20 mins, which I presumed to be good sign. We got seated and got the menu after a while from the waiter. We ordered veg handi despite persistent push from waiter to order tawa veg, maybe due to higher price. The food came and it looked fine until a bone like 1cm piece came in food. I informed them and they took it away and came back later to tell hat it was a piece of chopping board and not bone. They said it has been thrown away and there is nothing to worry about. I was informed that a replacement can be given which I refused due to lack of trust. The shock came at the audacity of restaurant to charg for the dish, it was simply a cheating on the end of restaurant. It happened in December and since then I've been discouraging people to go to such place. I lost trust from the point when unwanted substance was thrown without even showing or telling me, clearly arising suspicions of foul play. Restaurants should understand that a satisfied or delighted customer may or may not spread his experience but a sufferer/harassed or dissatisfied customer will surely do negative marketing for them. Long ago once I didn't see the yellow board of wet floor in McD and I slipped as a result whole of my meal fell down, the floor manager despite I being at fault, apologized and replaced the meal. Even though now I don't go to McD frequently but I always praise it as a restaurant. This is how impression makes long lasting effect in the minds of customer. This restaurant has a...

The Punjabis Kitchen.....What A Restaurant...Must Visit within Budget!!! I was searching for food in the night at 10.30pm at Andheri. And on Google in nearby places I found nearest this one. Visited with less expectation. By passing through entry and reception thought twice as it may be too costly as per it's ambience. Yet it was late so entered. & After entering and placing order...It's just everything was amazing.... Staff behaviour.. service...dressing... hygiene.. everything was awesome.... Interior is also too good. Short and sweet Restaurant. We had seated exactly opposite table of Billing counter. Owner was also there. He was personally looking to our orders, whatever needed, staff service n all. We start noticing plates design, salt tins presentation, billing counter wooden interior, menu card n bla bla....we could not resist to get click of each detailing. We ordered chicken handi and roti without going any starters. When he served roti, I could not resist to take click. Roti was so tasty even we can eat without gravy. I never are such roti. Chicken handi and later on Delhi style butter chicken. It was too good. Simultaneously siders Pickles of 3 types also so tasty. Then Jira rice was also good. When we finished it , I just needed a lil rice, owner noticed it, it he literally ask staff to serve small bowl of rice with free of cost without arguments for one more plate etc. And later on Souf/mouth freshener came into special theme designed mini Punjabi couple statue plate. A Perfect Restaurant I ever found in Mumbai and in Maharashtra till date. Memorable. Everything. Loved it. Must Visit Budget Place.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Hotel Punjabi's Kitchen with my colleagues and was thoroughly impressed with the experience. The food we ordered was delicious, and we were all very pleased with our meals. From the appetizers to the main course, everything tasted great and was prepared to perfection. The ambiance of the restaurant was also noteworthy. Although the hotel is located on the first floor and does not have a lift, the restaurant was well worth the climb up the stairs. The decor was simple yet elegant, and the lighting created a warm and inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The washroom was also clean and well-maintained, which is always a big plus in my book. The attention to detail in maintaining the restaurant's cleanliness is truly appreciated and speaks volumes about the high standards of the establishment. The only downside was that roadside parking was the only option available. However, the hassle of finding parking was quickly forgotten once we stepped inside the restaurant and were greeted by the friendly staff. Overall, I highly recommend Hotel Punjabi's Kitchen for anyone looking for delicious food and a great dining experience. The food was amazing, the ambiance was lovely, and the cleanliness of the establishment was impeccable. I can't wait to return for another meal!

I was pleasantly surprised with this place as I thought that if the food is priced so modestly then you’ve got to compromise with quality and hygiene amongst other things. I placed an order for three dishes thinking it’d be just enough for three people to not go home hungry. I realised their humungous quantity as the food reached our table and looking at the food I thought well this definitely wouldn’t be as nice as the specialty restaurant food we’re used to. But guess what, they had the most tender chicken tikkas, the most delicate paya soup and the crunchiest buttery naan bread. The staff was courteous and professional. I wouldn’t expect them to be fancy. This place is a must go-to on my list and I’m glad for this wonderful discovery.
