Navratri Ke baad Jab Pet Se Aawaz Aayi Chicken, Fatafat se Doston ke Saath mein Pahuch Gaya The Punjabi's Kitchen.
So met some childhood friends for some nice non veg dinner at this restaurant. It was praised a lot by one of my friends so was looking forward for the dinner, but was a mixed feeling as service really needs a LOT of improvement. We had to wait over 45 mins to get our starters 😔. Even after instructing the manager who took the order that the garlic naan should be served along with the starters the naan was served when we had almost finished our starters. And then when we asked them to take the naan away as it's no longer needed. The same naan was served in the main course instead of a fresh one. Also we had to keep on trying to get the attention of the manager or staff to try and get something ordered or anything at table which doesn't feel right. Mind you this place is very popular for its food because when we walked in at 8 pm on a weekday for dinner the place was already 75% full. . Coming to the food : The portions are huge and you won't complaint on that but again some dishes are really tasty and some are just okay. . This is what we had Banjara Murg : Fantastic Starter very tasty yummm. MUST TRY Rawas Fish Tikka : Priced at Rs 900 the tikkas were soft but they were very bland and I had to play Holi with green chutney with the fishes so that I can eat them. This was enjoyed by one of my friends but I didn't really like it. You can give it a miss. Delhi Butter Chicken: Was decent but the Butter Chicken was loaded with pieces of green chillies and it becomes troublesome to remove the pieces and eat. Better opt for the normal version. Garlic Naan : Huge Naan and two people can easily share one naan. . So Total Bill for 2 starters, 1 main course, 2 Garlic Naans and 1 Fresh lime soda was Rs 2300.

Food took over 45 minutes to reach the table, 3 reminders later.
Taste was below average. Mutton bhuna had hard to find pcs of mutton. 90% gravy of tomato and the same was served.
Fish Pomfret the first item on the menu on the Chinese side at INR1500 was worthless. It was stale fish fried, seved with a mayo. Please explain me the costing for heaven sake.
I did not have the heart to order anything after these. We had ordered dal, rice and rotis to go along.
Other folks on my table wanted to believe we ordered wrong. Let me clarify, the fish dish was suggested by their senior staff member and bhuna ghost is a age old recipe on the menu. Why do I call him a senior staff coz twice the owners came and called for him to attend to their friends as guests.
A very unwelcoming and unworthy experience. This place was suggested by a friend and while I will keep my reviews in the open space alone; I would say there is only a little chance you will have a good experience.
I paid approx 4k for a meal of 3 folks. The left over food was handed over to someone who may eat without a expectation.
Let me add a line or two on the staff response on our feedback. We served the same fish there as well, they did not complain. Bhuna mutton did not have mutton pcs, he tosses the spoon around to find a small pc and it breaks and mixes in the gravy. Overcooked mutton, lack of texture and even taste.
We were served food in parallel to a family that came 40 min after us. They occupied the table that was adjacent to us and was vacated while we waited.
There was not a single word of apology or remorse (even distant) that a family's lunch got spoilt.
Time, money, effort all went to the drain...
Read moreI went to this place after hearing lot of praise but the experience was nothing less than pathetic. I went with my wife for dine in and there was waiting of 15-20 mins, which I presumed to be good sign. We got seated and got the menu after a while from the waiter. We ordered veg handi despite persistent push from waiter to order tawa veg, maybe due to higher price. The food came and it looked fine until a bone like 1cm piece came in food. I informed them and they took it away and came back later to tell hat it was a piece of chopping board and not bone. They said it has been thrown away and there is nothing to worry about. I was informed that a replacement can be given which I refused due to lack of trust. The shock came at the audacity of restaurant to charg for the dish, it was simply a cheating on the end of restaurant. It happened in December and since then I've been discouraging people to go to such place. I lost trust from the point when unwanted substance was thrown without even showing or telling me, clearly arising suspicions of foul play. Restaurants should understand that a satisfied or delighted customer may or may not spread his experience but a sufferer/harassed or dissatisfied customer will surely do negative marketing for them. Long ago once I didn't see the yellow board of wet floor in McD and I slipped as a result whole of my meal fell down, the floor manager despite I being at fault, apologized and replaced the meal. Even though now I don't go to McD frequently but I always praise it as a restaurant. This is how impression makes long lasting effect in the minds of customer. This restaurant has a...
