Third Wave Coffee — Restaurant in Mumbai

We just ventured out to Third Wave coffee inside Janki Kutir campus to check out the new place post dinner today.

It is nice quiet location inside the campus just opposite to Prithvi theatre, only issue is parking 🅿️ which you have to figure out if you self drive.

The decor is quite modern and artistic, with a youthful vibe. They have an interesting wall art with a coffee map route of the world with 3D metallic fish, water waves and cloth textures for the countries and coffee routes (pics attached). And terrazzo stones, french window seating with marble too, and beautiful Spanish tiles on the floor. The outside section has terrazzo tables.

We were full post dinner hence ordered the popular Specials - Orange zest iced Mocha and French Vanilla iced Mocha (pics attached). Next time will try the food and other desserts too.

I found the French Vanilla rather strong for post dinner treat, so I requested them to charge me for additional icecream scoops and make it a frappe.

The Barista in charge Naushad was rather sweet and helpful and gave me the classic cold coffee frappe instead - which was a rather sweet customer delight gesture. I did offer a few times to pay but he refused.

What a winning customer service treatment that too in an over competitive branded Coffee chain stores segment!

Alarming Health Concern: Plastic Contamination in Coffee.

I visited Third Wave Coffee in Juhu, Mumbai today, expecting a delightful coffee experience in the posh surroundings. Unfortunately, my visit took an unpleasant turn when I discovered large pieces of plastic blended into the coffee my husband and I ordered. We were shocked to find such contamination in our drinks, and it's disheartening that these pieces ended up in our stomachs after just one sip. I have attached a picture to illustrate the extent of the issue. This incident has left a lasting negative impression on our visit, and I hope the cafe takes immediate action to ensure the quality and safety of their beverages.

Given the egregious nature of serving coffee with non-edible and harmful plastic debris, it is my sincere belief that Third Wave Coffee, Juhu, does not deserve to continue selling their beverages to unsuspecting customers. The level of negligence displayed in this instance is unacceptable, posing a serious threat to the health and safety of patrons. It is my strong recommendation that immediate action be taken to address this issue, and until then, the cafe should cease its operations. The Third Wave Cafe is located at Shop No 27, Juhu Church Road, Janki Kutir, Andheri, West, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400080. It is exactly opposite to the very famous Prithvi Cafe and has an absolutely different vibe than the same. You will feel calm, peaceful in this eco-friendly cafe.

We ordered Paneer spicy wrap, Caramel Frappuccino and Chocolate Chip Frappuccino. We paid almost Rs. 800 for the same. The quantity and quality both were good. It has two options to sit - one is outdoor and another is inside the cafe. The design and interior of the cafe is superbly done. The wooden structures are well done.

The staff was cordial and attentive. You can definitely go to this cafe if you are hanging out with friends for some relaxing time. They have good options for vegan and vegetarian people as well. They have an amazing coffee and food menu. The cafe is Family friendly, Groups and LGBTQ+ friendly. They accept payments through Debit cards, Google Pay, Mobile Wallets and Credit cards.

The parking is not available on the premises. You can park on the road also at your own risk.
