Ambience -

The decor of Urban Tadka goes very well with the theme. As soon as you enter the restaurant, we feel, that you are in Punjab. The efforts they have taken to make a small Punjab in Mumbai is commendable. However, they must take care of washroom, which has to be tidier and smell better.

Food -

Murg Kalimiri Kebab - Boneless chicken chunks server hot in butter and black pepper. It tender, juicy and spicy good to go with a cocktail/mocktail.

Sarso Ka Saag - One of my favourites in Urban tadka. You shouldn’t miss this if you want to savour the true taste of the Punjab. Top it with white butter and have it with butter makke ki roti and that’s the shortcut to a heavenly trip. However I must add, in winters the taste of Saag is better.

Paneer Makhanwala - Soft paneer chunks served in velvety, creamy orange gravy is one dish you will enjoy with rice or butter garlic naan.

Aloo Kulcha - These two aloo kulcha is served with complementary chhole. Quantity good for one. Kulchas are soft and delicious, however the chhole was very average.

You must, make space for Rabdi Jalebies. Hot and crispy Jalebies, served with thick rabdi is best to another level.

This place is very spacious, on the 8th floor of parth business plaza, has an Hospital below it valet parking avaliable. I belive one can have an get together, birthdays, office party etc organization here. There are two sections, once u enter an formal section with well placed dinning are and other side an lovely white floor bright light up are well decorated garden dinning setting, which is better enjoyed during lunch or day time.

Food has always been good at Urban Tadka, but sometimes I feel the tandoor items need to be cook and check throughly as one of the piece I got was under cooked maybe coz it was in the middle and dint get enough heat in it. Over all the food was good.

1. chicken banjara - Dry green tandoori Chicken with hint of cheese nicely done.
2. Murg Tikka - Not very spicy with a hint of mustard well balanced.
3. Murg Rashmi Kabab - succulent pieces of chicken maranted in green dry gravy with cardamon and topped with wipped egg with was really nice.
4. Dhai Ke Sulay - Hung curd with Bell peppers and spices wraped in white bread cover deep fired was really nice and a must to try.

Extended happy hours menu has changed goes on till 11.45pm which is an added bonus. Great for beer lovers.
