Read moreOh, where do I even begin with the Landmark Restaurant Veg Diet? This place is an absolute gem for all those predictable vegetarian Udupi food enthusiasts out there. You know the type - the Gujjus who just can't resist flocking to the same old restaurant every weekend. And trust me, the menu is just as predictable as the clientele.
Let's talk about the food. Prepare to be amazed by the mind-blowing predictability of every single dish. It's like a symphony of flavors, where all the gravies taste exactly the same. Who knew pav bhaji could be so insipid? Actually, scratch that, all the food here tastes the same. It's a culinary marvel, really.
But fear not, dear customer, for there is a glimmer of hope amidst this gastronomic monotony. The only saving grace of this place is the lightning-fast service. They've mastered the art of bringing you average food with lightning speed. How impressive!
Oh, let me share the highlight of my visit. I ordered the famous paneer mutter with butter garlic naan. The paneer was a delightful rendition of rubber, reminiscent of those childhood erasers we used to play with. And the mutter? Well, they were still frozen from the depths of the freezer, adding a refreshing icy touch to the dish. As for the gravy, picture a reddish brown gooey oily mash. Appetizing, isn't it?
Now, let's not forget about the ambiance. Loud and garish decor awaits you at this fine establishment. It's a true testament to their attempt at going upscale. I mean, who wouldn't want to enjoy their tasteless food in an environment that screams "over-the-top"?
If, by some chance, you decide to visit this place, I must insist you try their Udupi dishes like the masala dosa, but only if you're loaded with money. Because apparently, paying a premium is the key to unlocking their full potential.
But here's a little secret: right next door, there's a vada pav wala called 'Anna's' who serves the most amazing misal pav. So, if you're feeling adventurous and willing to take a risk, why not skip Landmark Restaurant Veg Diet and indulge in some real flavors?
In conclusion, Landmark Restaurant Veg Diet is a true masterpiece of predictability. From the average food to the indistinguishable gravies, it offers an experience like no other. Visit at your own risk, and remember, the only thing you'll truly appreciate here is their fast service....
Read moreDuring our recent lunch outing at Landmark Restaurant, Malad, we were pleasantly surprised by the overall experience, which combined great food, a warm ambience, and attentive service.
We walked in during the afternoon, and the restaurant immediately gave off a comfortable and inviting vibe. The interiors were neatly maintained, with enough space between tables to enjoy a relaxed meal. The staff welcomed us with courteous smiles and were proactive in guiding us through the menu. Being from North India, we were eager to try something that suited our palate. On the staff’s recommendation, we ordered Mix Veg Chingari along with Dal Makhani.
The Mix Veg Chingari turned out to be a delightful preparation – rich in flavor, with perfectly cooked vegetables that carried a smoky essence. It was a refreshing take on a classic dish and paired beautifully with the Indian breads we ordered. The Dal Makhani, a staple for us, was exactly how we love it – creamy, slow-cooked, and full of flavor, reminding us of authentic North Indian kitchens. Both dishes reflected the care and consistency of the kitchen.
The staff also recommended their dessert, Ras Madhuri, which we tried without much thought. This turned out to be the highlight of the meal – fresh, mildly sweet, and absolutely satisfying. It was the perfect end to an already fulfilling lunch.
We truly enjoyed ourselves and were so full that we didn’t feel the need for another meal until the evening. Overall, Landmark Restaurant delivered on every front – tasty food, clean and welcoming ambience, and excellent staff service. It is certainly a place worth revisiting and recommending to...
