Urban Tadka Versova — Restaurant in Mumbai

Looking for a restaurant with pure Indian Tadka to it??? Urbantadka is here in the town and must say an allrounder restro !!!!!! So i had visited their Versova branch today and stilll cant get over the vibes of the restro. Talking about the ambience KUDDOS👍👍👍 to UrbanTadka Felt so refreshing the moment i entered it. Music being played around , dim lights truely enjoyed the overalll environment. My order was as follows to start with Refreshments : SUN BREEZE and AFTER GLOW were the two Mocktails i had chosen and talking about them one word just WOW!!!!!!! I suggest you all to try them but they have several other in their menu including LIQUIOR as well. STARTERS: MURG TIKKA & KALIMIRI MURG TIKKA to be honest i have tried murg items else where but the taste here was on to the next level. Both this dishes were in red masala my favourite.Chicken was cooked so well with great mixture of spices and masala. Both these dishes can be served for 2 people i am sure you all gonna be full in it. MAIN COURSE: This time i decided to go for NIMBU CHICKEN BONELESS SPICY gravy with BUTTER NAAN and TANDOORI ROTI other than some pizzas and all but must say truely worth it. Firstly i thought its gonna be alike Butter chicken but here the taste was really very different with a pinch of lemonish flavour added. Chicken tasted so delicious and being boneless the masala and spice was properly added and mixed with it. To sum up and explode the stomach could not stop myself from ordering ZINGA BIRYANI not a great fan of it but after having it here must say it has become my go to dish!!!!! Prawns were so tasty and rice was well cooked over steam served with raita Altogether loved it alot. And when it comes to DESSERT with no doubt i ordered JALEBI with RABDI. Jalebi was perfect in taste and was served hot which was not that sweet and actually how it should be. No words for the Rabdi truely still drooling over it. Overall it was a great experience visiting this place where all dishes are prepared with so much of love, staff being so helpful I am sure you all will be filled with the vibes which will make you forget all damn things. Go give it a try guyz and get your cravings fullfilled now. You can also place your order now on Zomato and as they have several outlets in mumbai as well. But i would highly recommend it to experience it by visiting the place...

Visited this place after so long, This place gives the dhaba vibes with vibrant colours and beautiful ambience which was so perfect after long time of walking in phoenix... They have knowledge staff which was helpful and made us Easy what to select.. safety precautions are taken and the food is of good quality. The bar rates are little expensive so just watch out on that else the food is worth..

We tried

Tandoori Soya chaap It is a delicious North Indian starter where soya chaap is cut into small pieces and then mixed with a marination of hung curd, ginger garlic paste, Kashmiri red chilli powder, turmeric powder, tandoori masala, chaat masala, black pepper powder, salt, garam masala powder, kasuri methi, butter, fresh cream and lemon juice. So I gave a try to this delicious dish and it was just wow!!! I tried it first tym and it was the best. Perfect amount of spices not very blunt and not very spicy. Unique taste as well lot's of spices and flavours made the dish more delicious. I highly recommend to try this chap once!

Butter garlic roti This was the best part of my lunch, loaded with finely chopped garlic and fully covered with the butter, I become happy that this place have such a good amount of butter on one roti 😂 it was perfect to accompany with bhaji which we ordered

Veg handi Firstly I would love to say that all the vegitables used were fresh ,which gave a unique and a tasty taste. Everything used was perfectly blended with good quality and one bhaji is enough for 2 people.

Smooth and creamy lassi ..just the right amount of...

Allow me to express my disappointment with the overall experience at Urban Tadka, Varsova. While the quality of food was average, the service was exceptionally poor, leaving a lot to be desired.

One fundamental service issue that stood out was the delay in receiving water, a standard offering in any restaurant worldwide. Astonishingly, we had to repeatedly request water, which was served towards the end of our meal, creating a highly unfavorable impression.

Adding to the service mishaps, during our dessert order, the waiter informed us that the person in charge of the bakery items was unavailable, resulting in an apology for their unavailability. This, coupled with the delay in water service, presented a notable lack of preparation and organization.

The service declined further at the end of our meal when we settled the bill. The valet service, upon returning our vehicle keys, directed us to a location across the road, approximately 50 meters away, indicating that we retrieve our own vehicle due to their purported busyness.

In summary, the restaurant's service, from delayed water provision to the dismissive attitude of the valet service, left much to be desired. It's regrettable to witness such a poor standard of service in a dining establishment. I'd caution others to avoid this place if they value efficient and respectful service.
