I’m staying in Muscat-Oman. I requested my friend who visited recently Mumbai, to bring Aflaatoon from Usman Sulieman- Mahim. Yesterday he landed Muscat and handed over 4 box of Aflatoon (Rs 460/-kg) today. First he complained that there was too many flies in the shop. So question of hygienic arise. Second when we open one box to taste it, I was surprised. The taste is so bad , it’s like we are eating aata mix with sugar. Really I didn’t expected this. It’s an old sweet shop nearly about 30 year old. They still have authentic sweet. Their best seller is Aflatoon which has superb taste. It’s worth for money. They also have different kind of brafi they have it in multiple flavours. I liked the mango barfi. It’s on the main road opposite to Mahim Dargah no hard to find. Weekend you will get lots of traffic so plan your route accordingly, the parking there is a concern cannot park your vehicle anywhere on road you can get fined for that.
