The Moonlight Restaurant — Restaurant in Nainital

Beautiful location. Well it’s on Mall Road right in front of the lake so that’s a given.

I’m a little disappointed with the food. I had a cheese omelette and a club sandwich. Here’s my advice. Take if u want if not it’s fine as well.

The cheese omelette cannot be looking like a street food omelette. You have a fancy restaurant, YouTube better wants to make and plate a cheese omelette. The folded french style with filling inside is a classic.

The club sandwich was below average. You see charging me 280 rupees for a club sandwich, I expect better. The bread became soggy within minutes. Toasting techniques 🤷‍♂️ The cucumber kept falling out. I’m eating the cucumber like a bhaji with the bread. The French fries were literally 9 in count. Are u kidding me man. 9 pieces of french fries in a 280 rupees club sandwich.

I didn’t try any indian food. I guess you are better off with Indian cuisine. Idk 🤷‍♂️ but as far as the above two dishes are concerned, they could use a massive upgrade.

It is situated on Mall Road. It has small outdoor sitting also. It serves both vegetarian and non vegetarian food.

We had Chicken Biryani which was served with raita but it was very similar to fried rice; Mix Dal which took almost half an hour to be served but was very much delicious. I had asked the waiter to bring all the breads not together but yet he bought all of them in one go which resulted in eating us cold breads.

If you are staying at their hotel which is named as Moon Hotel situated near Nainital High Court, you are entitled for 10% discount at this restaurant. But it should be noted that the hotel is at very steep from Mall Road, thereby going to the hotel from Mall Road on foot is tiring and it will take approximately consume 30 minutes.

They really need to improve in their service and customer handling. Note:- They deserve 3 stars but giving 4 only due to...

We've visited this place and we ordered hakka noodles and a cappuccino. The Cappuccino they give was like they've put only coffee in just water and served it to us. We complained to the waiter there and he said ye aisi hi hoti hai. We've drink cappuccino in many other places and we know how it tastes. We also complained to the present manger there he said okay mam coffee ka shot zyada patla hogya hoga. We will take care. And we paid the whole price and we didn't even drink our coffee. The prices are so much over the top. They are only charging for the place and the view which also they have not created but they are charging...
