Anna’s House of Dosa offers more than just a meal—it delivers the comforting experience of home‑cooked South Indian food. This humble, vegetarian eatery has transformed from a food‑truck to a beloved destination for true dosa lovers in Nashik.

The moment you step in, you’re greeted with the aroma of hot dosas sizzling on the griddle—evoking memories of the kind of meals lovingly prepared by mothers or grandmothers. The owners, Mr. Ramu and his wife, exemplify warm hospitality. They attend personally to guests, greeting familiar faces and newcomers alike with genuine smiles and friendliness. Regular patrons often mention how welcoming they feel whenever they visit.

Food that tastes of tradition and love The menu is a dosa lover’s paradise—with specialties like Masala Butter Dosa, Mysore Masala Butter Dosa, Garlic Cheese Loni Dosa, and the celebrated Podi Idli and Idli Fry. Every dish carries the hallmark of flawlessness—crispy edges melding with soft centers, bold yet balanced flavors, and fresh chutneys and sambhar that taste reassuringly homemade. Many such items are priced affordably between ₹90 and ₹160, delivering excellent value.

From the first bite of a Mysore Masala Dosa to the pillowy comfort of Podi Idli, it’s clear that each dish is crafted with precision and tradition. I can describe the experience as “authentic South Indian cuisine” that echoes dishes we grew up with.

Anna’s House of Dosa isn’t about flashy décor—it’s modest and homely with an unpretentious vibe. The seating arrangement is simple and clean, suitable for family breakfasts, intimate brunches, or quick solo meals. Despite its modest size, it never feels crowded, and the atmosphere remains relaxed even during busy hours. Consistently tidy and inviting, the place reinforces the feeling of being welcome in someone’s kitchen.

Service with a personal touch One of the recurring sentiments among diners is the owners’ personal involvement. Mr. Ramu and his wife often step out to chat with customers, recommend dishes, and ensure everyone is satisfied. Their warmth, coupled with prompt service, elevates the dining experience from routine to memorable. Patrons often become regulars not just for the food—but for the sense of belonging and care they sense here. In Nashik’s sea of breakfast joints, Anna’s House of Dosa distinguishes itself through its authenticity, consistent taste, and heartfelt service. The food genuinely tastes like it’s been prepared in someone’s home kitchen—with no shortcuts, no artificial flavors, just pure, unpretentious goodness. The owners are humble and accessible—they often personally interact with customers, ask for feedback, and share genuine warmth. This down‑to‑earth spirit permeates the entire dining experience.

Why it wins repeat visits Regulars return for the nostalgic aroma of hot dosas, the comforting flavors of familiar chutneys, and the sense of being cared for. Whether it’s the crisp edges of a Mysore Masala Dosa, the gooey warmth of a Cheese Podi Butter Dosa, or the satisfying fluffiness of Idli Fry, each dish brings joy. The environment is casual but cozy, and the owners’ hospitality ensures every meal feels like visiting family. In conclusion, Anna’s House of Dosa in Nashik is a treasure trove of down‑to‑earth flavors, humble service, and homely ambiance. It’s more than just a restaurant—it’s a space where the essence of home-cooked South Indian meals comes alive. If you’re craving genuine dosas, soft idlis, and warm hospitality in Nashik, Anna’s is an absolute must. The modest setting, generous portions, and heartfelt care make dining here a joy—one you’ll happily revisit...

Mr. Ramu runs this small place all on his own. It is located away from the crowded localities. A quiet bend of the road going eastwards from Tirupati-town, near Aakashwani tower off Gangapur road, Nashik, is the location of Anna Dosa.

A customized 4 wheeled cart with counters for stand-up eating and 6 to 7 chairs. A big tarpaulin cover spares the customers from the elements in the otherwise open air set-up. 1800 hrs to 2030 hrs except Thursdays. (Usually the fare gets exhausted earlier)

An amiable slightly rotund personality who greets all his custom with his endearing smile, prepares a wonderful fare. A limited South Indian items on the menu. His Mysore dosas are ....well, really good. The 'Idli's are soft & fluffy. The 'Dosa's' are crisp on the underside and well cooked. The filling in the 'Masala-dosa is tasty. One could try the 'Cheese dosas.' They are good. The people resident in the surrounding residential areas are Mr....

This is a lovely small, authentic south Indian place. The service is homely and staff is courteous. We ordered multiple items. Mysore masala dosa was the best - crunchy, tatsy, perfectly thin. Sambar and chutney were perfect. Our curiosity made us order sandwich uttapam, which didn't live upto the interest ot generated - it was layers of uttapam and small amount of chutney/masala in between. It was too dry to enjoy. Ghee podi idli was delicious. Ended the brunch with filter coffee which was nice, but we expected something extraordinary. Overall a nice place for quick south Indian bites. I'd suggest to stick to traditional food items while ordering - they come out best v/s new...
