Haji Darbar Restaurant — Restaurant in Nashik

The most high-price-range💸💵 restaurant in the locality. And deservingly so. The location isn't very pleasing, the getting-there isn't very great either😐. But i kid you not, the food is awesome😇!! The shawarma is totally bonkers!!! 😍 Their cuisine (as must be apparent from the name) is mughal food. Coincidentally (or maybe not😁) its in an area with majority muslim residents and the patrons reflect that demographic. But in no way is that a deterrent to anybody who loves good rich food!! The attention to quality and is really felt in every bite and sip!! I've never got so much mutton in one serving of biryani in my life!! And the seekh-kabaab!! I agree that Some people may not find The taste of some things to be as mind blowing as i do and that's fair. But the richness can be smelt...seen...felt..and tasted in all the food they make. The downside of this is, the food is very heavy. For those for you with gentle food habits, it is advisable to be very hungry before eating here . DO NOT make the mistake of drinking any aerated beverage/sodas with/after the meal here. Better to ask for warm water or black tea. I don't like tea, never have. But i make it a point to get tea here, just cuz is so good..! Their tea counter is separate from the main entrance and is open early.morning to late night...and even in the days the restaurant is closed sometimes. Worth going there even just for tea. Id give it 5 stars, but the the location matters too. Also, they don't have much of a parking. So 4...

I am eating in this restaurant from 2001...days of college ...we used to come here for kababs ,biryani and yes the best...SHAWERMA ever...Now,I don't live in Nashik any more,however whenever I am in Nashik I do have Shawerma at Haji and believe me it tastes same at it used to 17 years ago...if you love Shawerma and are in Nashik please enjoy this delicious treat....for my job I live in Mumbai and previously lived in Pune....both these cities have many Shawerma joints and they are good ,but believe me this is the best Shawerma joint I know where the chicken is perfectly cooked wraped with delicious stuff and served with a special white sauce as a dip..AWESOME....Also they have very good kababs...there dum biryani another thing to be tried which is again authentic...I hope their quality remains same for...

After nearly nine years, I revisited Haji Darbar in Nashik, and I’m thrilled to say that their Shawarma still holds the same magic. The taste remains unchanged and just as delightful as I remember.

The Shawarma at Haji Darbar is truly one-of-a-kind. The combination of perfectly seasoned meat and the sweet chutney they provide creates a flavor profile that’s unmatched.
