Hotel Vishwa Jyot — Restaurant in Navi Mumbai

A wonderful place not very fancy but serves good food and its old restaurant in vashi, situated just off palm beach road. The place serves exclusive vegetarian Udipi style South Indian on the ground floor section ( open from morning to night no breaks) and the Mumbai version of Northern food namely - punjabi dishes. Non vegetarian is only served from a separate kitchen on the first floor air-conditioned bar cum dining area ...this section opens at 12 noon for lunch and closes at 3 pm to open again at 6 pm for the night

They have an air-conditioned upper floor and serves mon vegetarian food and liquor is also served here and one can comfortably take the family here ...food quality has been very consistent tasty and safe over the years ...my- to go to place - if I am around Vashi and hungry! ...

Vishwa Jyot has tasty food, good ambience, reasonable rates, quick service. I often visit this place with family on various occasions. This time we went to try the Korean and Japanese additions to thier menu. We ordered Chicken Korean pot rice and the Chicken Japanese Yaki soba noodle. Both the dishes were ultimate. The pot rice contained lot of veggies with decent amount of rice and chicken, which i liked. The Japanese noodles were soft and tasty. The sauces in both the dishes were balanced. The quantity was good enough for 4 people. We were 3 and could not finish so we took the remaining as parcel. We also ordered fish finger amritsari in appetizers, the presentation was good and it tasted very crispy. Definitely looking forward to try few more dishes of these...

It was a tiring day since early morning, traveling to Pune from Mumbai and back starting from Pune late in the evening. Decided to have dinner with friends in Vashi. Landed at VJ Kitchen and Bar ( Hotel Vishwa Jyot). The look of this joint from outside was quite appealing. Had a couple of drinks and dinner here. The food here was exceptionally good, we mostly had non vegetarian starters, one dish I will recommend is the Mumbaichi Tandoori Chicken, delicious chicken dish, tangy n spicy well cooked tender chicken. The staff was very attentive n humble. The ambience was excellent. Here they also have a well ventilated SMOKING ROOM. Parking was not a problem, ample space available in the night.
