Big Yellow Door — Restaurant in New Delhi

Big Yellow Door is the flag bearer of the ideology that you don't need to be fancy and overpriced to be established as good. Always full, always buzzing, always comfortable, always satisfying, BYD never disappoints me which is the best part.

Ambience - The music is fun and up beat. To some it might be loud, but it never crosses the point where hearing each other becomes a problem. There are quirks to this place which would really appeal to fun loving foodies. The lopsided doors and funky decor is commendable. As is the fact that the restaurant has made maximum effort in judiciously using the space irrespective of the congestion.

Service - Service gets slow on crowded days, in the nutshell it is quite slow. I had to wait for a glass of water for 15 minutes and 20 more before someone came to take my order. The delivery of the food to the table takes lesser time however.

Taste - Decent portions in absolutely justified price. Also, the food tastes good. I ordered a veg combo for two and was pleasantly surprised by the quantity of the food on the table. Strawberry Mojito was highly refreshing. The Bombay burger with extra cheese slice was an absolute delight. With chips on the sides and mayo and ketchup served too, the entire menu entry became an experience. The pizza was also far better compared to the quality of established pizza chains and yet not half as expensive.

And this is the appeal and USP of BYD. Everything works in their favor except service maybe. But, would you really be prepared to miss out as awesome a food point as BYD just...

I recently visited this cafe in satya niketan location. one of my friend recommended this to me and trust me its one of the best recommendation that i have received so far. first let me explain the cafe decor and theme which is so aesthetic and quite loving. this is so much recommendable for couples. the space is lil small but still cafe have the happy vibes and really beautiful vibes. Now the review about their food menu which is quite large and even the drinks section as well quite big. you will get almost every food and drink here. the taste is just superbbb. i tried their mac n cheese pasta which is soooooo amazing, full of cheese and the taste was soooo good, delicious. i have also tried their cheese Nachos which are literally amazing and quite spicy and tasty and also the chutney were too yumm as well. i tried one shake which was strawberry shake and the shake was also amazing and i have tried their coconut cocktail (i dont remember the exact name) and this drink had a very unique taste and very delicious taste. so overall i would definitely recommend going to this cafe because here you will get everything from pretty decor...

A very nice place to chill out with friends with a friendly atmosphere. The Pasta, Burger everything is good over here. The service is also very good only thing is if you haven't booked you may need to wait for a while but the food makes up for all. Big yellow door is one place that will make you work hard before even getting in. there is waiting for almost an hour and half most of the times. But once you get in, it will be totally worth it. I suggest you book a table before hand. The ambience is very welcoming and unique. It feels just like home. They have a great seating concept. There was something like a bed which really felt cool. The food is served quickly. The nachos were very good. The mac&cheese is something you don’t want to miss if you are a cheese lover. The chicken bomb burger is something to die for.
