Good for ambiance but not food !!!
We had heard of this rooftop in satya niketan and came here just to get a eagle's view of the south campus and Dhaula kuan. The view was great but not complimented by the food
#ambiance : 4 As in the description you get a great rooftop view of Venky college and the traffic mayhem. There is a nice vibe with lot of greenery and homely furniture. You feel a lot relaxed and you can feel it will be awesome during the winters & spring
#service : 3.5 prompt. You will have to call them to get rid of mosquitoes. The service level goes down during large crowd
#price : 3.5 Its cheap like most other satyaniketan chains, designed for student crowds on a budget but unlike other chains its unable to justify the cost on food component
#food : 3 #oreo shake : served in glass jar. Average #signature potato wedgies : the best dish in the menu. In fact a unique take on potato wedgies with nice sauces and masala. We ate two plates among 4 of us for the same #veg burger : disappointment #chilli paneer : below average with no taste. even the paneer didn't feel fresh #bakednachos : its hard to go wrong on this one. even movie halls manage it. yet we were mistaken. Not at all baked properly and random combo of sauces #lemonade : more soda, less lemonade spoiling the entire taste especially when the fizz goes out
We came out as fast we had entered. In fact, we drove to wah ji wah and feasted on some soya chap to fill ourselves.

Searching a great cafe with a great seating area and attractive ambiance? Then trust me crazy kitchen is the place to look for. This cafe is among one of the most popular cafes in satyaniketan. The ambiance is really really great. The attractive and eye-catchy wall decors all over the place really took my heart. The design and theme of decoration is really superb and the lighting you get at this place is top notch which really makes your time at crazy kitchen memorable.Talking about food we had here: In new additions we tried peri peri sauce chicken and peri peri sauce momos. ❤️ Both the dishes were great and the presentation was also good. Then we tried the most constant dish at this place which is the chiken parantha. The taste was as good as always and really enjoyed each and every bit of it. ❤️ Also got my hands on creamy chilli chicken and some hot drums of heaven with my favourite coke. ❤️ The food at this place is the best among all the cafe I tried in satyaniketan. The best part is the rooftop ambiance which is the real USP of this place.
What i love about this place is that they serve complimentary sheesha if you want on a certain bill amount due to which this place becomes a great one to spend time with your gang. Overall experience at crazy kitchen is really superb and I personally visit this place often. We visited this rooftop cafe in Satya Niketan - 'Crazy Kitchen Lounge and Terrace' recently. It is situated in the famous lane of Satya which houses all the cafés. You need to climb a flight of stairs, 4 FLOORS TO BE EXACT, to reach this place, and I'm not the most athletic person you'll see, and it KILLED ME, not even exaggerating, to reach this café. So beware if you lose your resolution to visit Crazy Kitchen midway your climb and decide to head to the other cafés present on the floors below it.
But, if you finally do make it up to all the four floors, you'll be greeted by a view which will be completely worth the climb! Yes, this place is beautiful. The lounge has quirky seating and dimmed lights, with the latest favourites playing on the speakers. And the rooftop cafe is quite a pretty sight too. It looks even more beautiful at night. This place gets a 4 out of 5 for their ambience.
Next up, as for the food, it was good. Not "ohmygod so delicious I guess I just had the best culinary experience ever", but yes, "hmm, that's delicious, I could eat it again." The portions are filling, the presentation is 💯, and the prices don't burn a hole in your pocket either. They get a 4 out of 5 from us for their food as well.
