Huddang - Club Kitchen and Sky Lounge — Restaurant in Odisha

This is A great club and restaurant setting in the civil township. The ambience speaks volumes of the same and so is the food.

The service was fast enough considering the fact that we visited on a Saturday. We ordered chilli garlic noodles, brownie icecream, chicken biriyani, chilli chicken, all of which were very good.

There was a bit of confusion regarding the brownie and we got to know that sizzling brownie here is heated up brownie but if you request ice cream to be added to the sizzling brownie then its no longer the hot and sizzling brownie but cold brownie with icecream, unlike other places. So you need to be a bit careful when ordering this dessert.

There was a feedback form to be filled at the end which I did. Although they levied service charge, it was removed on request.

They also have DJs visiting from outside on certain days so make sure you follow them on social media to stay updated. However if the crowd turnover on a particular day is less they usually don't play any.

Overall, a great place to visit. The entrance and parking could be a bit confusing which we overcame by asking some people...

Place Ambience Music is good. It lacks food quality and quantity. Visited 3 times and every time expected better food. I am not talking about huge quantity or top class flavours. But for the price charged everyone expects good food assuming this place is not for cheap people. Also the waiters don't care much if the customer is delighted with the food and service and don't feel to compensate anyway. And we can't blame them as they are expected to serve food on the table.

Suggestion to Huddang team: Keep track of customer feedback and work on food quality and service. The same problems are faced by most of the reviewers here and no change since long time. The interior and ambience is so good and a lot is invested. Every Rourkelite expects at least good food for the price charged. Otherwise people will only visit during special events for DJ and not any other day. Will update the stars once we see improvement....

If you’re in a party mood this place better be in your list. Located in the heart of Rourkela, the place for all pub-hoppers. The food is good but it’s a bit less in terms on quantity. If you are in a big group and want to order platters, they serve a bit inadequate amount than what’s expected. Their drinks are good and better to get you boozy. Their in house DJ is nice and plays songs according to the mood of the house. All in all a great experience.
