KFC — Restaurant in Odisha

This KFC is Far better in terms of TASTE when compared to Bhubaneswar KFC. I personally have been to KFCs in Chennai, Pune and Kolkata.

Rourkela KFC can be compared to some of the good KFCs out there in good metro cities.

Since its New, a bit of crowd can be expected. I am reviewing this in 25th December 2020. Its very crowded. You have to plan accordingly that if you're going in a group then some guys will have to look for arranging place to sit while other people can give order.

TASTE- Just Superb. We thoroughly enjoyed Christmas today.

The Mall has free parking facility in the basement.

Take-aways are also excellent.

SERVICE- Top Notch. No rude behaviour . No attitude shown. Very friendly staff.

Time Taken to serve- Very Fast service they took only 10-15mins since giving order to serve. Make sure to stand near the self service counter which is on the left of billing or order counter.

RATE- Same as other KFC outlet. I would say if youre going in more than 4 in a group then atleast 300 each person should be a budget to eat full stomach else if you're going just to taste then 150min each person budget.

Well the taste is good, typical KFC. But they're still some scopes of improvement. Like sometimes the chicken stays too long in their hot oven and becomes dry. One particular thing about this outlet is that, they would like to force sell you stuff (I guess all retail stores try to do that). I have visited this outlet twice for take out, and both times they sold me something I didn't need. Like the first time I was there with my own bag but they charged me for a carry bag. The second time they asked "single or double sauce"... I was like okay let's take a single sauce...and guess what they charged me and forgot to give it to me. This is not acceptable. You remember to force sell something but don't give the same thing in order? Surprising. My order was very small, only a burger and pack of wings, can't imagine what they would be doing with...

I visit KFC at least twice a month, and while I had high expectations given KFC's reputation, my experience was a bit of a mixed bag. The ambiance at the Civil Township outlet was decent, and the staff was friendly, which made the visit pleasant.
