I recently had the pleasure of dining at 1 Rue Suffren, a fine dining French restaurant in Pondicherry. This restaurant stands out not only for its impeccable service but also for being open beyond 10pm, making it a rare gem in the area.

From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was impressed by the well-mannered and professional staff. They were attentive, accommodating, and went above and beyond to ensure a delightful dining experience. Their knowledge of the menu and willingness to cater to our customizations further elevated the service.

I must say I was thoroughly impressed with the Indian food. The flavors were exquisite, and the dishes were prepared with utmost care and attention to detail. The restaurant was able to cater to our specific requests, and the customized dishes were prepared to perfection. It's commendable that they took the effort to ensure customer satisfaction.

Let’s start with the star of the show: their Arrabiata Pasta. Hands down, it’s the best I’ve had in years. The perfect balance of spice, tang, and richness, every bite was an explosion of flavor that left me craving more. I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s a masterpiece on a plate.

There are some 25 to 30 tables, most of which can seat 6. The tables on the corridors do not have air conditioning, otherwise its all air conditioned.
