The Puducherry Museum is a small but fascinating place that’s definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. It offers a glimpse into the rich history and culture of Pondicherry, with a good mix of French colonial artifacts and items from ancient Tamil civilizations. The displays include old coins, sculptures, paintings, and even a vintage car! The highlight for me was the section with the beautiful bronze statues and the ancient artifacts that tell the story of the region’s past. The museum is quite small, so you can easily explore it in about an hour. The building itself is charming, with its old-world architecture adding to the experience. The only downside is that some exhibits could use more detailed descriptions, but overall, it's a lovely spot to learn more about Pondicherry’s unique heritage. Definitely a great stop for history buffs or anyone curious about the town’s past.
