Hotel Maharajaa - Authentic South Indian Restaurant ( Veg & Non-Veg ) — Restaurant in Puducherry

I went to Maharaja when it had newly opened. I ordered a mutton biryani and chicken sukka, the taste was excellent for both items. Rice was aromatic, mutton was chunky and well boiled, pieces were adequate and i thought I found a very good place. I went there a month later, i experienced the exact opposite. I ordered the mutton biryani and only got bones in them. I gave them the benefit of the doubt because it was almost closing time. Poor Experience at Maharaja.

During our recent visit to Hotel Maharaja, we had an extremely disappointing experience. Despite the restaurant's posh exterior, our impression was quickly tarnished upon entering the reception area, which was unsanitary and infested with insects. To make matters worse, we were charged for extra servings of rasam and sambar, and no water cups were provided. The cramped dining area and rude staff only added to our dissatisfaction.
