De Bussy Restaurant — Restaurant in Puducherry

Not a good hotel to go again! Reason why I mention like this is because of the cost that we spend here for the food is really not worth it the quality and quantity. I ordered sankara fish fry from the take away counter and while I did order, I had asked the person in the billing counter if how many pieces of sankara fish will be there and how big it will be, as the bill was INR 252 (240+gst 12). He showed his hand and mentioned a big size and said that there will be 5 pieces of that size alike. I was happy enough to pay the bill and waited for about 25 minutes to collect it. I got the pack when it came and reached home. When I opened the parcel, I really got shocked to see 4 pieces of sankara fish and that too small in size. I realized that I should not have purchased here because there are lots of local shops where we can 5 or 6 pieces of even bigger and better sankara fish fry for just INR 70!!! Taste was average and the fish didn't sound too old or bad. But, definitely have to think twice before stepping in for...

Such a nasty biryani i have ever had in my life . I am a regular customer of this restaurant called DE BUSSY so that i can sense the weired taste of the biryani .its not the regular debussy biryani by the taste but they gave me spoiled biryani. Such a heartless people you are . I paid for mutton biryani here ended up eating spoiled biryani . I’m not even a tourist indeed I’m a pondicherrian . Don’t you people have heart?? Could you give this spoiled biryani to you family or friends?? Then why you people selling spoiled biryani ?? If the biryani you made get finished means , tell your customers that its finished. Don’t fool the customers with spoiled food . Their trick is giving proper biryani to dine in customers and giving spoiled or leftover food for takeaway customers. Normal every Sunday this place would be busy. So here what happened when I went there last sunday. I tried to order dragon prawn fry which is famous over here. First thing waiter told it take more time to prepare so order anything else. I told it's okay I will wait. And my friend tried to order panner stick something he straight away told it's not available. Almost next 4 to 5 dishes we tried to ordered he told it's not available. And told to us as it's very busy time we can't take some dishes like that. Order something that can be prepared soon. We gave up atlast and ordered fried rice. Coming back to dragon prawn fry order, he brought chinese prawn which is a gravy and gave to us. Disappointed
