It was 8 PM at the Providence Mall, Pondicherry and we had just finished shopping. Reluctant to get back home and start cooking, we thought it would be apt to take home our dinner from the mall's Food Court. It was when we discovered that De Bussy has opened its outlet there. Without much of a choice, we took the gamble and ordered Parotta with chicken masala from the outlet. It turned out to be one of the best choices that we have ever made. It is long since we tasted any hotel food of such quality and taste. The quantity, taste, and hygiene aspects of the parotta and chicken masala were pristine and I could still feel it lingering in my senses even as I write this review. We wish the De Bussy outlet at the Providence Mall all the best, and hope they maintain the same standard at all times.

Not a good hotel to go again! Reason why I mention like this is because of the cost that we spend here for the food is really not worth it the quality and quantity. I ordered sankara fish fry from the take away counter and while I did order, I had asked the person in the billing counter if how many pieces of sankara fish will be there and how big it will be, as the bill was INR 252 (240+gst 12). He showed his hand and mentioned a big size and said that there will be 5 pieces of that size alike. I was happy enough to pay the bill and waited for about 25 minutes to collect it. I got the pack when it came and reached home. When I opened the parcel, I really got shocked to see 4 pieces of sankara fish and that too small in size. I realized that I should not have purchased here because there are lots of local shops where we can 5 or 6 pieces of even bigger and better sankara fish fry for just INR 70!!! Taste was average and the fish didn't sound too old or bad. But, definitely have to think twice before stepping in for the next time!!

Yeah its pretty nice restaurant. If u gonna try continental dishes would recommend here. Normal every Sunday this place would be busy. So here what happened when I went there last sunday. I tried to order dragon prawn fry which is famous over here. First thing waiter told it take more time to prepare so order anything else. I told it's okay I will wait. And my friend tried to order panner stick something he straight away told it's not available. Almost next 4 to 5 dishes we tried to ordered he told it's not available. And told to us as it's very busy time we can't take some dishes like that. Order something that can be prepared soon. We gave up atlast and ordered fried rice. Coming back to dragon prawn fry order, he brought chinese prawn which is a gravy and gave to us. Disappointed All dishes are good and tasty but service we got on that day is bad

I ordered 2 chicken bucket at 12.5pm at the parcel counter, waited for 15mins no response, went inside the restaurant and reminded them politely, they kept saying we're processing your order. At 12.50 Lost my patience and changed my tone and found out that they haven't taken my order to the kitchen yet. Then approached the manager with the genuine reason stating all the other orders are being processed and where's mine here comes his reply " Why do you've inferiority complex, why are you comparing yourself with other customers, you've to wait and that's how it works " SERIOUSLY? Pathetic and irrelevant reply And the worst service. This what happens when you appoint a person without any qualification. The one who uses inappropriate words to the customers. Is this why you charge 100rs for packing? Great job 😒

I felt so strange about the waitress !! Be aware 1. I have given some order -( in between my 2 year daughter asked for dragon chicken - I said no ) But the server noted it and doesn’t repeat the while he left They served the dragon chicken what my daughter demanded 🫤 2. My husband ordered ice cream of one scoop he told we serve 2 scoop .. So he told one scoop vanilla & another one scoop chocolate flavour The waiter served two separate bowl of ice cream One with 2 scoop vanilla ice cream One with 2 scoop chocolate ice cream 3. Juice were served were not chilled 🙇🏻♀️we req to redo ↪️ We paid unnecessary 120 rupees for that 🤦🏻♀️ They were so careless !!

It was a big comedy . We ordered prawn biriyani. The waiter thought we ordered plain biriyani and he brought plain biriyani. Then we were quite hungry so directly went to eat it. We were fishing for pieces only to find that no meat or prawn was in the biriyani . Then the senior waiter was gracious to replace with prawn biriyani. But in prawn biriyani there were chicken pieces also. Fish finger was good. On the day we went koduva , parai , mackerrel were not there. Only nethili was there. But it was a good experience. Breezer was good but costlier than wen u get it from wine shop. They give peanuts also . It made the experience good
