Single line review: Must visit 🔥, it will not disappoint 👍🤝 Full review: If you came to pondi, you must visit this. One of the best hotels to taste original pondi food. Everything here is good. We ordered Chicken Biryani, Mutton Kuzhambu, Chicken Kuzhambu, prawns kamatchi, fish kamatchi, chicken kuzhi omlet, viral fish fry, Jigarthanda and guess what Everything is too good. None of them disappointed. And everything is must eat. Cost was not that high. Don't come here if you are not that hungry. Come With empty Stomach and go wild on the menu. Trust me you will not disappoint. Service was good, they were polite. It doesn't have much ambience just good enough. *Free Dish Alert 😋* : They will provide Rasam annam as complementary. Try it. It is not the best rasam, but as it is free it tastes good 😅. Note : ✅ This restaurant is too famous here. So, basically in the peak hours it will be much crowded. So come at earliest hours. ✅ This restaurant will be opened from 12-4 PM and 630 to 11PM. So it's best to come at 12:15PM or 6:45PM. ✅ They can speak English, So it's not a problem to communicate. ❌ Don't randomly order the food if you don't know them. If you ask they will suggest the dishes according to your taste. ❌ Don't prefer this If you are vegetarian. Ratings : Food: 8.5/10 Ambience: 7/10 Cleanliness: 8/10 Service : 7.5/10 ✅ They will accept UPI, Cash, Card. ❌ It is better to carry cash or card as we can't get signals inside the restaurant. I was looking for a good place for dinner in the White Town area and suddenly got to see the hoarding of this place. Went in and waited for few minutes for us to get a table. It was an early dinner though around 8pm. Small cosy place and interior is very simple and plain with few food pics as wall hanging. Food served by them was quick. Fresh hot foods. We ordered the special Mutton Biryani, Mutton laba (stuffed mutton parotta), prawn Kozhi Omlette ( stuffed with prawn), prawn Roast and Elaneer Payasam as dessert. The dessert was just awesome. Highly recommended to try this. Mutton Biryani is also best. Prawn Roast was not that much good. U get a complimentary rice and mutton rasam which is a bit different and unique from rest of the restaurants. Prices are reasonable. Quality and quantity is maintained properly. A little background music would have been better. I really enjoyed the food. Not spicy but very fresh ingredients used for cooking. It's an odd one out amidst all the cafes and bar and multi-cuisine restaurant in that area. The watchman outside is very kind and gentle person. Few tips makes him really happy.

I recently dined at Briyani Veedu in White Town, Pondicherry, and it was a memorable culinary experience. This place is near Pondicherry Rock Beach, famous for biryani and south indian style dishes, specially for lunch and dinner, family restaurant with clean and neat environment follows covid 19 safety guidelines, special item is knowingly famous for it's own name biryani, biryani varieties are special, all the biryani taste will differ from one another, we can taste one of the best biryani in and arround pondicherry here, chicken biryani, chicken 65 biryani are so good and taste wise will surely surprise us and mutton biryani is different taste with well mushed mutton pieces with high taste of masala flavours and aroma, and they have kamatchi special items which is indeed a worth for money, and specially south indian meals was fabulous and masala flavours will gift for taste buds, family restaurant and food lovers and travellers if u wanna taste a South Indian foods with high rated taste this is the best place for that, dine-in and take away are available and make sure ur Goin at the right time so that you can enjoy the best lunch and dinner with whole new taste..

Tried this place 3 weeks ago. This came recommended by a few people I know. Firstly it's a small place. What I mean by that is that it has very limited seating. We went there on a Saturday and waited nearly 40 mins to be seated, mostly because we needed a table for 6. But you can expect an average wait time of 15-30 mins on a busy day. The staff were very courteous. Food is served on plaintain leaf, makes it that extra yum. Though the Mutton Biryani tasted good. It was served just warm enough to eat and not piping hot like one would expect. From what little Tamil i understand, I heard the waiter explain to another customer that Biryani is prepared elsewhere and brought to the restaurant and that the next batch might take around 45 mins. I may be wrong though. The Chicken was good too. One thing i would recommend is to try the Eleneer Payasam or Tender Coconut Kheer. It's served in a pre-packed bottle and is a must try. We were super exhausted and dehydrated that we just gobbled up the food without complaining or taking photos of the food.

For fish lovers over the world I garuntee that you will get fresh and good taste of fish here. Vanjaram fish deep fry is best here no fish bones were found expect the one at centre, so you can feed you children with fish and it's too good. The best I ever had in my journey of fish food. For biryani lovers every biryani is best in its own ways and taste was good. It was authentic south Indian style biryani and it's famous in Tamil Nadu you will get in this restaurant in Pondicherry and you will get white rice and rasam as compliment for biryani , which is good for digestion. If you are full with biryani just drink rasam it's good for health and it's tastes soo good. Karandi omblet is also very well cooked and it's should be taken last as it's tastes soo good to feel you tummy with food. The rate is also less. Quality wise it's the best non veg restaurant in Pondicherry. Let me know if you are an food and like this course over there. Happy foodie life and happy journey.
