My recent dining experience at Darshan Restaurant & Banquet in Baner was nothing short of delightful. From the moment I stepped in, I was impressed by the elegant ambiance and warm welcome from the staff.
The restaurant offers a blend of contemporary and traditional decor, creating a pleasant and inviting atmosphere. The seating arrangement is comfortable, providing ample space between tables for privacy and relaxation. Whether you're on a romantic dinner date or a family outing, Darshan caters well to all occasions.
The menu at Darshan Restaurant & Banquet boasts a wide variety of dishes, catering to diverse tastes and preferences. We opted for the vegetarian thali, and it was a perfect choice. The thali included an array of flavorful and well-prepared dishes that gave us a glimpse of the rich Indian culinary heritage. Each dish was distinct in taste and beautifully presented, leaving us eager to explore more from their menu.
The service was attentive and prompt. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes, making valuable recommendations based on our preferences. They also took care to check on our comfort throughout the meal, enhancing the overall dining experience.
After the hearty meal, we decided to check out the banquet facility for future events. The banquet hall was spacious and well-equipped with modern amenities, making it an ideal venue for hosting special occasions like weddings, parties, or corporate events. The management provided us with detailed information about their event packages, which seemed reasonably priced for the quality of service they offer.
However, the only aspect that held me back from giving Darshan Restaurant & Banquet a perfect 5-star rating was the slight delay in food being served. While it wasn't a major issue for us, it might be something to consider during peak hours or when you're on a tight schedule.
Overall, Darshan Restaurant & Banquet offers an enjoyable dining experience with delectable food, excellent service, and a welcoming ambiance. I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try, whether you're a local resident or just visiting Baner. I'm sure you won't be disappointed with the flavorsome...
Read moreI am a Vegetarian and it is tough to find Pure Veg places in Pune. Most places are quite desi serving regular Dal-Paneer-Tandoori food but this place is not like that. The place has another well known branch in Prabhat Road and when this branch opened in Baner I was curious to try this wholly Vegetarian restaurant serving various cuisines. I ,along with my friend, visited here on a Sunday evening, when it was too crowded and there was waiting for about 20 mins. But seeing the ambience and the hype we decided to stay on for next 15 minutes before we got the table on its first floor.
Coming to the ambience it is mostly white with plants alongside but nothing so extraordinary or fancy apart from comfortable plastic tables and chairs which makes the vibe here is so positive that food served looks damn hygienic.
Seeing the Menu,I won't say the food here is cheap but definitely on a upper range. The Menu is a combination of Chinese, Mexican, Italian and other cuisines. We ordered SIZZLER CLASSIC which was a combination of Corn Patty, Veg cutlet, Manchurian, Szechuan Rice along with assorted veggies & Fries. The combination was bomb and taste was good. Wish there was some sauce in order to have with patty & cutlet. Then we had VOL-AU-VENTS which were bite size puff pastries (9 in number) with toppings of Corn, Beans & Cheese. #Recommended We ended our meal with their speciality CARAMEL CUSTARD, presentation of which was good but lacked a bit in caramel. Considering the taste & quantity and such a positive ambience the price which we paid seems somewhat justified.
The real reason why this place stands out for me lies in its service. On a peaky Sunday Evening right from waiting for table to quickly getting served everything was great. Special mention to Egeyendra who served us on our table.
👉Overall the ambience and service are great with quite variant pure Veg (even Jain) food makes this place a must try place (at least for Vegetarians) and...
Read moreThe place is said to be one of the rare gem and also considered to be very much famous for its special snacks food dishes . Honest reviews …. The ambience of the place will definitely attract you …. And the reviews over the internet will be to drool over . Let me clear you one thing in the very beginning … this place is specially made for the snacks , evening chit chat place , coffee and cafe items …. And some JAIN SPECIALITY FOOD. They have several dishes for jain person to settle for … as they have various request for limiting the material in the food. But , this could also be a drawback for the non jain people … the taste of the food is completely changed … its a bit high over the spicy side . They hardly have anything to satisfy a the cravings of any hungry person . They server such oily CHOLE BHATURE. The size is too huge for the bhature that one person cant finish it alone . You can easily see that the tissue has soaked the complete oil dripping through the bhature. They simply have - 2 main dishes (Pav bhaji , and chole bhature ) rest 1-2 dishes from Chienese … and 1 from sizzler. The staff is very friendly and very quick in response . They will surely suggest and assist for various dishes … but i would suggest to assure quality instead of quantity . We had ordered spring rolls , sizzler exotic , chole bhature and some soup too. The soup tasted so bad that we could not end up finishing it and had to waste it , keeping in the boul as it was impossible to gulp the tonic . The spring rolls were just crispy . No taste at all , just bland noodles filling inside the roll. The prices are also on the higher side as compared to the taste and quality of the food .
